A small snort leaves Temp. This might only the first time he's met Estelle Belrose, but he's decided he already likes her.

"Nah, my dad's the Cap'n. Just makes me feel old." A quick test of the oxygen and Temp tosses out a pokeball- his Relicanth bobs in the water, waiting. "I don't know if you could handle my wild, uh... What was your name again?" Had they been introduced to one another yet?

Ah, well, at least Temp had paid attention to one thing!

"Bunch of Corsola down there! We need to catch them for relocation." There is a 'splat, splat, splat' as he walks over to the edge of the water, flippers flapping. "I know we're Rocket, but be careful, kay? Rowan Wrynn said I could keep them for Pacifidlog!" Mask over his head and splash. Temp dove into the water.

TROUBLESOME TIDES

OCCUPIED OCEAN

An adept diver and underwater navigator, it doesn't take Temp long to discover the crevasse where the Corsola had been nesting. Over the years, the Gym Leader had become quite familiar with the habits of the coral Pokémon, so it wasn't difficult for him to discern that SOMETHING WAS VERY WRONG. These Corsola weren't nesting for traditional reasons, the area far too small to comfortably support a colony. There was only one logical conclusion: THESE CORSOLA ARE AFRAID OF SOMETHING.

A crimson gleam in the darkened deep sea water soon acted as the harbinger of danger, at first there was one two, then four, then a dozen. Each one of them looming ominously around the pair, the Corsola becoming visibly agitated and afraid at the sight.

THE LIGHTS MOVED CLOSER, revealing the fleet of Tentacool that had descended upon the pair. A keen eye could see these Pokémon were abnormal in not only behavior but appearance, small crystal growths spiking off their flesh, their eyes as entirely crimson as the gem-like structure on their foreheads. Moreover, they seemed aggressive, opting to attack both of the trainers without provocation.

Saving the Corsola was a priority, BUT CAN YOU SAVE YOURSELVES?

As Rowan Wrynn's mod post said, Temp was very good with Corsola. They were basically his entire town's lifeblood, after all! It's easy to see they're bothered; being a crevice like this was unusual in of itself. Corsola preferred open waters close to light so they could grow. They were a type of plant, after all, even if they were hard and stony.

"Something isn't right." He speaks into his mouthpiece so Estelle Belrose can hear it. The signal crackles a little.

Then come the lights.

Temp is instantly on edge. He tenses, hand creeping to his hip; he trusted his Lanturn could handle herself, since she had already been out, but he didn't think she could take this on alone.

"This isn't right either." In fact, Temp called out his own Tentacruel- plus his Bruxish. The three pokemon circled, on the defensive. "Hope you know how to fight... I don't think we can avoid this." If they tried to surface, the water pokemon were faster, after all.
