What had once been a pleasantly sloshed mood had turned into a bad time. Physically, mentally, emotionally. He wanted to throw up at the thought of CALEM POLLET pulling a kiss off and then escaping without getting the full beating he deserved. Hell, he probably would've tried smashing his skull into the table until his brains leaked out of his ears. "Piece of shit fuckin' Xatu." he growled, eyes on the exit. He hadn't been escorted out just yet, but that could have something to do with how volatile he was. His personal empath, Ollie, sensed he needed a distraction and so more or less with loud meows and soft head butts, managed to heard his agitated owner to a new table.

He sat down loudly, Ollie, concerned he'd move abruptly again, stayed on the ground. Paxton panted lightly, still trembling with overflowing emotion form his blast with the past. It took him a moment to clue in on Luka's concern or even her identity, still woozy. He grimaced not understanding her first inquiry. It didn't even look like he'd heard it. "Ugh." was his only reply at the water, but he sipped it anyway. "Hi Luka." he said, voice low as he spoke to his glass of water before carefully setting it down. His expression soured even more, if that was possible and he squinted at her trying to pick out in his drunken state what to say and what to keep hidden. "Pervert fuckin' kissed me." he said, hoping stating the obvious would be enough for her.

He felt a little bad for not acting more normal in front of Luka. He didn't' recall having ever being this much of a mess in front of her. Well...ok maybe this TYPE of mess, specifically. To assuage her fears, he drank a little bit more of his water. "Yeah, I was already gettin'...annoyed but after that I can't calm down." he said. His heart is still beating in his ears and he was still looking to pick Calem out of the crowd, now that he knew he was here.

The offer of mints made him perk up and, while delayed he did nod before sticking out his hand for a couple to crunch down on. "...It's fine. He was smart, and avoiding using tongue." he explained. Despite his shaking, he very carefully leaned over to pick up Toffee and set him on his lap. Ollie for his part, went to Luka, preferring lap to the floor. Paxton carefully pat the Togepi's head before breaking off a piece of sugar cookie and trying to feed it to them.

Toffee’s happy mood is a little infectious, and even Paxton isn’t angry enough to hide the little smile that started to appear as the pokemon gurgled and giggled in his lap. He bounced his leg gently for the baby pokemon for a few moments before turning back to Luka. Ollie is indeed startled, mewling pitifully and popping up in her lap before settling back down and trying to curl up into a loaf of cat bread.

He doesn’t notice the added attention having gotten used to it his past 3 dates. “Yeah…I didn’ like it.” He echoed with a nod of his head. “Got ‘em back though. Bleeding from a head wound.” He said with a snort, though even that wasn’t much comfort. The mother fucker had left smiling, probably delighted he’d found old prey and could rile him up just as quick. Sick bastard. “Anyway, how’d yer dates go? Aside from that one, most of mine were good.”

Ollie did his best to comfort Luka in Paxton’s stead. As an empath, he could sense his trainer was pretty useless in that regard and that Luka needed a bit more of a delicate hand. “Mmm? OH yeha…I guess…I did sign up fer business too…” he paused thinking back on all his dates before flushing slightly at the memory that his one business date had ended with agreeing to a drink with BARNABY FINCH . Shit…

“Yeh… I think me an’ Ollie’ll head out after this. Joules’ll help me out of I let them out.” He said nodding and gently putting Toffee back down on the ground, but not before lifting the baby pokemon to his face and giving it a little peck on top of its head. He then gently nudged the egg pokemon back towards its owner. Ollie, noting that Pax was probably getting ready to go stopped his incessant purring and jumped off her lap as well. “Mmm..dunno who that is, so you’d hafta intreduce me.” He stated as the buzzer rang. “I think I can head out on m’own though.” He said flashing an easy grin at the pinkette before getting up.
