Eva thinks about Hideo’s comparison for a moment. Eventually, she speaks, “Uhhh yeah, kinda!” being a little too familiar with the types of energy she knew the differences, but the overall concept of energy is acceptable for a lay person to understand, so she chooses not to go one a lecture about the differences. Last thing she needed was to lose a new friend to boredom.

Until now, Eva had completely forgotten that Hideo had been there to confront Groudon. In her defense, there were quite a number of people that selflessly participated to defend the region.

“I think it might! There’s something about this place that seems to attract a lot of energy,” Eva finishes tucking her sample safely into the backpack, “Hopefully some of this will help me find the answers!” With a careful motion, she slings the backpack over her shoulder, “Thanks again for letting me grab some samples. You’ve helped more than you knows!”

Hideo smiled, a feeling of triumph from having some understanding of what was happening even if it was barely any understanding.

"Yeah, it's weird," he added, "It feels like everything's happening in Hoenn, and all at the same time. It's like there's something drawing them all here." Did he actually think there was? He didn't know, but he was in awe at how much happened in Hoenn nowadays. Had it always been this chaotic, and he just hadn't known while he was stuck at home?

"But I guess all we can do about it is weather it. Hoenn's resilient like that."

It was sounding like Eva had to head off, with Hideo giving a nod. "Glad to know we could help! I hope it finds some answers too!" Or else he would've gotten a face-full of berry-slobber for nothing.

He waved, before turning towards his Arcanine. "You really like acting like a drama queen, don't you, Floofer?"

That got him an affectionate lick right up his face. He was gonna need to wash his face once he got back to his camp. And his hair.

With a sigh, Eva agrees with Hideo, “Yeah, I hope this gives us some answers too! Thanks again – to both of you! Safe travels!” Eva waves, wishing them both farewell as she turns back towards her own Arcanine. His large tail begins to wag, thumping against the dirt path in anticipation, “Alright, ya big lug, let’s keep movin’!” with a wave of her hand, she ushers the Arcanine back in the direction they came from, taking one last look to glance back at Hideo and Floofer, hoping to run into them again some day.
