The convention was a success so it seemed. It brought some of Hoenns most influencatial people. Sure while some thought they were better than the rest and decided not to show up, others thought it was in good business taste, best to have connections, or best to have a good time to meet your peers. For Spyro it was the latter. He enjoyed meeting people and didn't take it too seriously other thing coming up with casual business plans, and looking to meet new and growing businessmen/women to help them out some. Needless to say he had sponsored most of the event himself, even going as far to pay for everyone's travels and hotels. The invites were fancy, wrapped in his iconic, white blue and gold marbling, and signing off the invite was his navy blue twine, and golden anchor; that would double as the entry tickey; and allowed a plus one.

Upon walking in all the visitors would noticed the extravagant nature of the venue. Fountain features, rows of tables, live entertainment ranging from pokemon, to live artists, to general performers. Tropical plants lined the halls, with vibrant flowers, chocolate fountains and beaitful gourmet confections and snacks carried by servers dressed in, once again, Spyros signature colors. While Spyro himself stood by the chocolate fountain, in nice black dress pants, and his half buttoned floral shirt that bellowed at the slightest bit of movement or ac. "Oh welcome to the conference!" he welcomed the first person he saw.

summits like these make for an ideal networking opportunity. the problem is most of them are already acquainted on some level.[break][break]

for example, ana sees more than a few familiar faces as she strolls through the space, dipping her head at a few and smiling at even fewer.[break][break]

it isn't until she reaches the chocolate fountain that she comes across an unfamiliar face.[break][break]

Things had turned interesting thanks to Mòrag’s influence. Elinor was intend on striking out on her own, breaking the chains of her jailors better known as her parents. Unfortunately, they weren’t keen on letting go of their sole remaining ‘asset’ within the family. Now, some might have tightened the leash, fearing that their Growlithe would run away. But, her parents were far smarter than that. Give her some leash, let her have a taste of the freedoms within wealth, and surely she would see the folly of her ways, or at least so they thought. And had it been before the meeting between Mòrag and her, it might have worked immediately.

The moment she stepped into the venue she was blasted with extravagance, sure she had tried similar things before, but this seemed way more than usual. Whoever had deigned to set this up had not spared any expenses. Luckily while she had been handed the invitation, her parents had forewarned her that this wasn’t your usual convention, and so she had chosen to dress in her finest black and white business suit, with a tie neatly tied around her neck.

Though with all the extravagance she quickly found her attention being pulled in all manner of directions. Sure where to go, she first found herself going towards the live entertainment. But as she stood and watched that, and noticed how everybody was mingling, not even paying attention to the entertainment, she began to feel more and more like a fish out of water.

I suppose a little bit of Networking won’t hurt. A small sigh escaped her, as she pulled herself away from the otherwise very engaging entertainment and found herself walking towards the chocolate fountain, figuring if a networking opportunity would arise, then surely it would be there. She was almost proven right as she saw two others there already having a chat. She decided against budding in, rather than choosing to wait for a natural opportunity to join in on their conversation. So, while she was sating her chocolate cravings, she merely listened to what they were talking about.

He had received an invitation to this event, for what purpose he didn't know. Of course he was no stranger to the business world, after all he had his hands in a few businesses in this region. Those belonging to Zac Ramsay , Josh Dragomir , and of course the ever lovely oscar clayton . Perhaps he would have to reach out to his friends, and at least let them know that he was back from where he had gone. Of course he had up, and left without a word, but such was the case with the upper elite. Their whims dictated their actions, and that use to be the case for him. Perspective was something he had learned on his journey, and now that he was back, attending this event seemed like more of a chore than a delight. However Walter insisted that he attend, and that he wear something presentable. Suits use to bring him comfort, but now he found them stifling.

So he opted for something less restrictive, Walter had approved it so there was no problem. Upon entering the hall Amor barely glanced at it. All his life he had attended things like this, this was nothing more than just a large fire to attract moths. He would humor this for a while, but if nothing, and no one caught his attention then he would simply leave. Walter had gone through the trouble of gathering some files on the people that would potentially attend, and sent them to his Holowatch. So he lazily began to scroll through them, and it had the potential to be an impressive line up. Those who were already here were of course the host himself, and two women. He only recognized one as she was Ana Stone. Owner of Rotomtv, potential for sure, but nothing he was interested in at the moment.

They were all gathered along the chocolate fountain, and he was glad he hadn't brought Adontis with him. The Pikachu would have just jumped inside it, and caused a large mess. Not that Amor would have cared terribly, but these were people he didn't know, so he had brought a different team in case something went wrong. Not that he thought it would, but you could never be to careful. So he meandered over to the chocolate fountain to join the group.

"Hello....I presume you were the one who sent the invitation?" He'd look at the man curiously.

There were many businesses spread across Hoenn, and a chance for them to meet up, meet compatriots and competition alike and potentially spark new ideas was a good opportunity for all of them. Of course, the workaholic CEO of Raicorp was running a bit late on account he had found himself engrossed in a project early in the morning. The spark of inspiration had hit him in the dead of night, and while he tried his best to sleep, he couldn’t prolong it forever if he didn’t want to lose the idea at hand. So he had been up for a good while, then needed to take care of the kids when they were up, handle the daily chores as well. Then catch a few quick winks, before more regular chores and well, when you have kids, things don’t always go as planned. So fashionably late would have to do.

He hadn’t been keen on attending, on account it was another addition to an already full plate. And other businessmen could be so conniving at times, but his mother had thought it was a good idea and said it would be a good chance for him to gain some experience in dealing with these kinds of people. So off he went.

Dressed in a nice suit, he entered the convention with a bowtie-wearing Raichu by his side. The chocolate fountain of course got the Raichu’s attention, but Josh was able to reign him in. It wasn’t long after though, that a head of silver hair caught his own attention.

“Amor?”

Curious, he would bound forward to see his friend in a group of business people. Of course, one he did recognize, so he first showed his proper respects to Spyro.

“Hello, sir. You’ve organized a wonderful convention.”
