It’s not the only sleepless night he’s spent wandering up and down these hills. Far from it. He’s been coming to Mt Pyre almost every week ever since last September, and yet, he usually finds that moments like these are more enjoyable when in someone’s company.

ana fell makes for a good distraction, and their conversation is a great way to keep himself from hyperfocusing on what’s arguably an obsessive hunt.

He still watches their surroundings closely, of course, and he still hopes to find what he came here to find, but chatting to her like this and getting to know her is… nice. Even if it may get a little too grim and deep at times.
