Razz is definitely holding on to something as the water is nothing but bumpy as they travel. Though Salem just climbed onto his trainer's head as they seemed to enjoy the fast wind against his fact. He waves at her dismissively. "Just fine, though couldn't you technically do something about these waves?" he can't help but ask as he as a decent idea of what the avatar of the god of the sea could do. Besides that he'd say say he's grow a custom to quicker ways of travel. [break][break]

Thankfully they finally landed and Razz no longer had to worry about the choppy water knocking the boat over as he jumped out and joined the captain as she moved into the cave. Usually he'd try to light it up but it seems that wasn't nessicary as the new flowers seemed to make the cave glow on it's own, "I've seen these before..." he comments but still looks at them with awe as they were pretty.

Could she have done something about the waves? Probably.

While technically Skyler couldn't command the whole ocean, water did her bidding easily enough. It'd been a steep learning curve, and the Sotally Tober had seen a fair share of its pipes being replaced. Thankfully for Skyler's wallet and her husband's peace of mind, she'd since gained some measure of control over her powers.

But if Skyler took pleasure in anything, it was in sailing through storm-tossed waters. The wind whispered in her ears and vicious undercurrents pulled at her like the moon did the ocean - and, to her, that was freedom, in its purest form.

"Wouldn't have been half as fun," is what ends up coming out of her mouth on a shameless grin. "And it wasn't that bad." It kind of had been that bad, especially for anyone not used to the ocean's moods and whims. 

Stepping into the lowlit cavern, the captain is forced to agree with Razz. Crystalline growths framed the cavern's mouth and beyond in a breathtaking multitude of colors.

Their glow reflected in greedy silver eyes, fingers hesitating before skimming over the edge of soft purple petals. "D'you know what they are?" 

While a part of her was wondering at how much they'd be worth, another part revolted at the idea of ridding this place of - whatever this was.

The younger man gives a joking 'ha' at Skyler's response about the hard waves being fun. But then again the captain did seem to enjoy danger over anything else. Stepping closer into the cave the ranger gets closer to one. Though is sure to give it some distance as he notices that some of the Pokemon around seem to be walking... Waiting.

"I believe the league is calling them crystabloom, but aside that I don't know much else other than they're showing up all over the region, Sootopolis is where I first saw these."

"Crystablooms," she repeats, amused. "That's original." Though the captain couldn't really talk, could she? Her ship was named the Sotally Tober. Pot calling the kettle back, and all that.

Skyler pinched a petal between two fingers, bending it until it snapped and leaving behind a ragged line of broken edges. She seemed unconcerned about the fact, watching the pink-ish shard in the palm of her hand with the air of someone who was barely holding themselves back from doing something.

After a minute or so, in typical Skyler fashion, the captain shrugged and stuck the piece between her teeth, biting down. Like a pirate would a gold coin to assert its authenticity.

"You think pokemon eat these? I don't think any sailors or fishermen reported glowing pokem- Huh."

Catching a stray thought, Skyler turns to Razz Kingsman . "Now that I think about it, Ol' Bucktail did say he'd found some nice gems while fishing the other night..."

The Crystabloom part stuck out from the corner of her mouth, like some sort of glowy toothpick.

"What would you rather have a more complicated one like Angiospermae?" Razz challenges with a bit of a chuckle as he already knows the answer, "Sometimes you just need easy pronunciation for things" he comments still as he watchers her try and mess with the flower. For now the more curious part of him taking over as to what would happen with it. [break][break]

There is a small pulse as it breaks but not much else, though that's to everything else glowing in the cave he fails to really notice the glowing coming from the water. His attention too much on the captain, "Can you not put that in your mouth? You don't know if that energy is safe for human consumption, for all you know it'll make you sick-" [break][break]

Salem's meowing is now interrupting them as the meowstic is pulling at his pants. He looks to the cat before he notices the shadow as he looks toward the water as a large, schooled, glowing Wishiwashi comes from the water seemingly not happy with the trainers messing with the flower. Like Razz, Skyler failed to notice the growing shadow outside the cavern's entrance until it was nearly too late to do anything about it.

Distracted by the crystalline blooms and their odd choice of location (only seaweed would technically thrive here), the captain skillfully waved away Razz's concern and kept chewing on the petal. "Maybe it does - but it can't be much worse than this, right?" The Blue Orb around her neck seemed to absorb the light around it, like it held the ocean depths within. Primal energy lashed out furiously within its limits, as if struggling to get out. "And I'm fine."

Looking back on this moment, Skyler would curse herself. But that was neither here not there.

"At leas- Razz, watch out!" Her warning is preceded by a rough shove as a Hydro Pump fills the narrow passage, hitting the captain's shoulder and slamming her against a nearby rock. 

Dripping wet and sporting what would become a large bruise in the morning, Skyler rushes to pull herself to her feet. While fully confident in the ranger's ability to defend himself if need be, she still finds her eyes searching him out - just to be sure.

While the Wishiwashi grows larger, calling others of its kind to join it, Skyler releases Dross into the cavern. Electricity arcs towards the glowing fish as a Thunderbolt is released, electrocuting it and revealing a large gash in the cavern's ceiling.

A few loose rocks slide down the walls of the cavern and Skyler's eyes widen.

"Razz-" A warning, cut short by a waterfall of falling rocks.

"Don't know how bad that can be but seeing what happened to the previous Champion I do hope you're not using that too much," he informs her still none too please about having the off flower in her mouth. Though not that it mattered much as the large Wishiwashi lashed out, Skyler thankfully pushing him out of the way before the HYDRO PUMP could strike him. Salem taking initiative and using LIGHT SCREEN on both trainers to help them from here on. [break][break]

Razz calling out Whis to help them out and the cat slams his first together at the ready. To follow the eelektross's thunderbolt the Zeraora uses PLASMA FIST to strike the the Wishiwashi. Though that's when rocks begin to crumble from above. "Salem protect Whis," he orders before Razz uses his own abilities to get himself closer to Skyler before lifting his arm. "Brace yourself!" he warns as he creates an explosion to blast against the rocks, making them smaller to deal with pebbles rather than boulders. [break][break]

She was, in fact, using it too much. Not because she was unaware of its consequences (she knew perfectly well what had happened to the previous champion), but because it'd become a habit. An obsession even. Of course, if asked, Skyler would vehemently deny it.

All those pesky thoughts are scattered when the ceiling damn near collapses on them. Razz's reflexes prevent a possible concussion, blasting the falling boulders with his powers until they're no more than small pebbles. The explosion rocks the ground under them, debris and clouds of dust rising to obscure their vision.

Peering past dirt-clogged air, Skyler notices most of the blooms have been buried under chunks of rock. What a waste, she thinks, cautiously taking a step forward in an attempt to save at least some of them.

That small gesture proves itself to be some sort of catalyst; as soon as her foot touches the ground, a deep rumbling echoes all around them. Eyes snapping to the cavern walls, Skyler notices the growing cracks in the rock. Her hand goes to Razz's arm, grabbing a fistful of his shirt as she all but shoves him ahead. 

"It's collapsing! Out! Out!"

She heeds her own warning and jumps out of the cavern and onto the beach just in time for the cavern to collapse in on itself - burying the beautiful blooms under tons of rock. Turning around, Skyler summons a jet of water from the ocean to slice cleanly in half a wayward boulder before it can crush them.

Breathing heavily, Skyler slumps onto the sand. In her hand there are two blooms - a purple one and a pink one.

"I think that this mission," she starts, looking up at Razz and Salem with a adrenaline-fueled grin and waving about the blooms, "was a success."

Everything feels like it goes by so fast. [Break][break]

Between being attacked by the glowing Wishiwashi, and the cave collapsing Razz is sure if this were an official mission and not just an outting with Skyler this would definitely look bad on his record. Why were things so destructive when he was with her? Thankfully she helps push him along to get out of the cavern, Razz whistling to make sure Salem and Whis did the same. [Break][break]

In the end he's huffing for breath as he accepts the loss of the crystalbloom. Razz gives the other a look of just being done, "Yeah no,"
