Josh tugged firmly at Resheph's reins, the serpentine dragon leaping from sea to sky once more and performing a corkscrew that made her rider's stomach turn. It was like being on a roller coaster that didn't have a pre-determined path, and he loved it! He couldn't help but let out a whoop at the moment where the g-forces were greatest.

Resheph took Josh a bit farther out to sea, diving into the surface at a shallow angle and creating a big splash. She slowed her pace and surfaced to sllow Josh to catch his breath, her rider triumphantly raising his hands and letting out another cry of joy. He rarely got to swim with Resheph, and it showed! Once they were more experienced in the water, he would love to enter a race with her!

As Resheph turned back to shore, she let out a yelp and started flailing about hard! It was a good thing the gear she was wearing was extensive and secured; otherwise, Josh would have easily gone flying from his perch! A quick jolt of Thunder Wave from her tail dislodged the Carvanha. Resheph's scales were not pierced, but the sheer bite force on her primary means of locomotion slowed her to the point where the water-type could have outpaced her...if its muscles weren't all tensed up from the sudden shock.

With her tail injured, Resheph had to use techniques such as Aqua Tail not to attack, but to maintain superior mobility against her foe. Once Josh had guided her into a head-on position, he shouted for a Dragon Rush attack and braced himself. The Dragonair lowered her head and started flailing her tail, a trail of purple ooze floating to the surface behind her. A direct hit! The impact was stunned both Josh and the wild. As soon as he came to, the racer tossed a Poké Ball at close range toward the swift swimmer; he was not letting this one get away.
