and in a way, she will be. the revelation will come full circle later down the line, atop mt pyre in the aftermath of a hard fought battle and a primal point firing. she'll feel more validated than ever, then, and this exact conversation will come to mind.

for now, she flashes a smile in the face of his uncertainty. she's delusional, sure, but it's a delusion that can breed something more.

the concept of freedom within reach... freedom from her own desperate actions. she'll do whatever it takes to make sure they know the freedom they have been denied.
