Hi everyone, would like to provide a small update on the gym going forward.

Waitlists
All positions for the gym slots have been filled. Going forward, the Lilycove Gym will not be accepting waitlist applications, instead, please monitor for an open spot on this gym.

Time limitations
The 1 week duration of each Pokemon Gym battle will be removed in favor of reminders. There are two reasons for this.

First, to give myself some additional breathing space for me to RP other pursuits in my off time without 4 weekly posts on battling and strategy.

Second, I have had to cancel multiple challenges as a result of this limitation, and some existing gym challengers I have had to remind to post, I would rather not add any pressure OOC to anyone, as the gym challenge itself may be somewhat strenuous enough as it is.

Existing challengers and waitlisted, please take note!

Dear all,

This is Callan Young, thank you for your interest in challenging the Lilycove Gym. I have some news I would like to share regarding the future of the Stark Badge.

I would like to notify that effective September, I have been given the privilege of joining of the region's Elite Four, which I have accepted. and with it comes additional responsibilities as provided for this particular role. I will continue to perform the duty of gym leadership until a point in time where all currently waitlisted members have completed the Stark Badge challenge, however I will not be accepting any new challenges unless there are not enough positions to complete eight badges in total for Hoenn.

If by the time of completing all existing challenges, there are no more additional gym leaders which have applied for the position, I will continue perform the duty of Lilycove Gym Leader until a point in time where there are eight total badges. However the spots will be severely limited, to make up for additional duties that I may have to follow through with.

Instead of awaiting a spot at this gym, I would urge any gym challengers that believe themselves of merit or skill to instead apply to become a Gym Leader. Now more than ever, your region needs skilled trainers to take up the mantle to protect those around them. Gym Leaders are not just people who perform the duty of assigning badges, they serve both as an inspiration to their peers and as protectors of the cities with which they are assigned in.

In any case, please take care of your loved ones, family and friends. And I hope to see you in the Pokemon League.
