He let out a small "tch" noise when she said that they didn't mention the Pokemon. However she did have a point that it could still be trapped in whatever place they recovered Groudon from. Which meant...Immediately designs began flooding into his mind, but he would need some time as the realization hit him. He could make it work, he just needed a baseline to work with, but that would be easy enough to do potentially. Looking back at her at her last statement he had to just chuckle.

"You know I have met an Avatar once, at least one that was outward about it, and didn't mind talking to me about it, and explaining things to me." Adjusting himself back in his seat his eyes would meet her again. "The problem with those who have been granted that power, believe that they "control" the one who grants it. You never control such a creature, you can only respect it, and attempt to earn it's trust. Especially this particular one." He would correct her swiftly though he wasn't trying to talk down to her, it was just the way he viewed things.

"Dragons are temperamental at best, and if you are not careful they are likely to turn on you. They are proud creatures, and to earn their respect is no easy feat." That was something that he knew from experience growing up with the lessons that his father taught him. "A true dragon tamer knows all of this, and if the creature I seek is a dragon in any capacity I doubt I would ever control it, and to think so is arrogance. But it was fighting Groudon, and if only Groudon came back that does have me worried." He stated with a frown as he thought of the worst case scenario.

He had the basics of how to approach dimensional travel, but he lacked one necessary component, and that was a source of Primal Energy. Already he was working on a theory to make portals, but it would require such a thing first. Shaking his head he would change the course of their conversation for the time being.

"Still sacrificing one of your pokemon to travel to another dimension is pretty heartless. I didn't think anyone affiliated with the League in any official capacity had it in them." He was almost impressed, but killing pokemon always left a bad taste in his mouth.

He listened to the way she talked after he spoke on that singular matter, and that told him everything he needed to know about her, and the entirety of the league. He simply nodded to her letting no feeling show on his face except for a smile before he relaxed in his chair.

"Officially of course." He'd say with that smile still, but he placed his hands behind his head completely at ease as he met her gaze. "And yes it did produce results, but what results exactly? Though you've told me more than enough so you don't have to share more. He managed to bring Groudon back true, but to what end? Is it going to stop the meteor? That is doubtful considering the titan is landbound." He'd explain as he worked through his thought process. "In fact from my understanding we are to transport the Meteor to another universe to make it their problem correct?"

It wasn't a criticism just a fact from everything he had learned.

"Though I am woefully ignorant on the Leagues inner workings, so I will just have to take your word on the results part of that excursion even if they remain to be seen as of yet."

He listened to her bring the discussion back to the pokemon mentioned which was fine he got what he wanted whether she knew that or not, and he thought for a moment. It didn't seem like she understood what he said.

"I don't think anyone controls those creatures if you want my honest opinion. I think as long as the Avatar's carry out the will of their Legendary it will aide, but the moment they step out of line. That power can be taken back. It's just a difference of thinking. I would never assume to control a god, but that doesn't mean I can't get it to aide me. Does that make more sense?" He'd ask her curiously before he continued on speaking.

"As for why I don't want to leave it undisturbed. This is our first meeting, if I told you everything all at once that wouldn't be fun for either of us. But I do think others who may have witnessed it's power would attempt to use it for not so wonderful intentions." He'd put it lightly, and think on that for a moment. "I'd rather befriend it first, and get a jump on it before say someone from Rocket does." To him it was simple math besides if the Pokemon wound up in his hands that meant it was safe from both Rocket, and the League machinations, and that was what mattered the most to him.

"And since I've been known to help the League out on occasion, you would have a strong ally as well." While it wasn't a lie, it wasn't entirely true either, but it was true enough. "So I think you can understand my concerns to a degree, because if you had seen what I did with my own eyes. It is something that should not be taken lightly." But this was only step one of a hundred.

Hearing her agreement to his reasoning he nodded to her, and let a smile spread across his face.

"Then we can work together to retrieve it. First I'll need to confirm if it was in that dimension, and we will need to procure something that contains Primal Energy. Either a shard, or some other source. We can work out the details as we go, but the sooner we are able to do this, the better I think. I am sure there are others better equipped than I potentially making moves already, and if not well I don't want to tip our hand to them." He'd explain to her genuinely happy to have a partner for this endeavor despite potential other feelings. Not having to carry the burden alone was perhaps the most reassuring part of this, and maybe his opinion of her would change throughout.

"The tricky part will be the Primal Energy, as I know of only two sources, access to which will be difficult to find, or get. The shards that Eva speaks of, and of course Groudon itself, but I don't feel like letting a Silph in on my plans." He'd say simply so that truly only left them the shards to use. "We can scour some likely locations for some of these shards later this week if you're up for it?" After all he wanted more than one, he wasn't so naive as to believe he would only need one to get to a place, and back. Three or four would be ideal, but he would take what he could get in order to retrieve the Pokemon he wanted. Especially after all he had experienced in Sootopolis, and that plane of Cyberspace.

Now more than ever he was convinced that power unequal is what was required to deal with the oncoming plague of disasters that was going to plague their region.

"Then I believe with that our deal is struck. I will be waiting for word of when I can investigate, and study the meteorite." He wanted to trust her, but he had been burned by the league before, and if they thought they would take him for a fool again they would be very mistaken. So he stood up, and opened up the door to allow them both out of the stuffy room where Walter stood quietly gazing at them both with his usual cool gaze.

"If there is nothing else we need to discuss Ms. Anderson shall I have Walter see you out? We are both busy after all I wouldn't keep you any longer, lest I become a bore." He'd chuckle easily as if he was more familiar with her than he truly was.
