(H/G) SHADOW CHARIZARD, RHULK | ILLUMINATE - belly drum, fire fang, fire spin, inferno, shadow rave, slash

Taking another tour of Route 116, Derek cricled overhead while the incense he left on the ground attracted all kinds of psychic pokemon to it's location.

Knowing not to get his hopes up, he simply ate a snack up there, ocassionally sharing with Rhulk to keep him content with flying for so long.

Reluctant to land for the Dottler even though his pokemon seems eager to fight, Derek tosses the rest of his snacks to the pokemon to keep it going a little longer.

Lucky for the Dottler, right? It got to live another day, thanks to him.

The little Medicham marked the second pokemon he'd seen. Certainly a little more interesting than the last, it's still not enough for Derek to entertain landing for it.

But apparently he didn't have to.

A sudden HIGH JUMP KICK brings the psychic type within range, his Charizard avoiding the brunt of the attack by tilting right. Circling back, the pokemon unleashes an INFERNO that engulfs the Medicham whole.

They don't stick around to find out what came of it.

Spotting the Gothitelle from afar, Derek pulls on his pokemon to get it to head the direction they came. "I'm calling it." He didn't need to use up anymore of his limited time chasing his hopes and dream.

There was much more realistic work to be done.
