Although tempting, Derek directs his Charizard to pass the Metang by in search of more specific prey. He'd caught ten or so of the species line so far, what would one more do for him?

Especially since it wasn't a Beldum, meaning he couldn't use it for his surveillance system.

This put them back on the search, scouring around with all three pairs of eyes with hopes they might spot something worth landing for.

Passing by a Munna, Derek decides to take his pokemon down. Not to do battle, but to take a different approach. On foot they could get closers, and look for any nooks and crannies along Jagged Pass that pokemon may be hiding.

Though he still had his doubts he'd find what he was looking for.

A steep descent towards the ground would bring Derek and his pokemon skidding across the earth. Feeling as though Jonesy could use the practice, he sends the Sobble to do battle with the Alakzam they spotted while flying overhead.

"Jonesy, get it!" Even though the psychic type had a mind unlike any other, it never anticipated being caught by the Sobble's SUCKER PUNCH. The Charizard Derek rode in on was the obvious threat.

Using a pokeball to collect the fainted Alakazam, Derek ushers Jonesy back to his shoulder. "Let's head home." Rhulk would know the way, allowing the gym leader some time to look at his phone to see if the Unown Report had seen any updates yet.
