nacho ♂ water absorb / water gun, copycat, charm, helping hand, baby-doll eyes, aurora beam

bo wasn't much of a fisherman. he still wasn't going to pass up an opportunity to dominate lance at something. this was fine.

he got into the boat with rod and tackle, casual.

"what's up, lance? we just keep runnin' into each other."

beer? "sure." it asounded refreshing in the heat. he reached for one, popping off the cap. "thanks."

after baiting his hook, he cast as long a distance as he could. what were they going to pull up? lots of things in the water seemed agitated lately, for good reason.

he looked over at lance's extra small barraskewda, unimpressed, but congratulating him anyways, "good catch."

bo laughed. couldn't decide if lance was being toxic or not. meanwhile, he tried to keep his own in check.

"i got a horsea," he responded to ollie. it was a big one, though.

casting his line back out, he tried for the next big fish.

it was nice, sitting beside the other ranger captains. ollie hadn't gotten much of a chance to, what with everything that he was catching up to now that he was working at evergrande. he kind of missed being a floater — but there was something nice about having your own city.

bo glanced over at ollie, another very handsome ranger captain who seemed fond of willow atkins but whom he found significantly less threatening due to his boltund-esque personality. it was kind of cute, even.

"twinsies," he agreed.

on the subject of fish size, bo grinned and agreed with ollie, "yeah, lance. it's not the size of the fish. it's how you use it." in battle.

but of course, this was a fishing competition.

casting his line back out, he tried his luck again.

oh. lance actually caught something decent. something bigger than his catch, even. oh wait. it was a boat-eating sharpedo.

"nice!" get it out of the water.

he eyed the sharpedo nervously as he cast his line back out. lance's catch, while dangerous for them, was still bigger than his last. the competition was really on now.
