a CONFUSE RAY shoots down from a floating xatu but salamence is quick to evade it. in return, it reaches up to CRUNCH down on the bird, dragging it to the ground where a pokeball finds it.[break][break]

at the appearance of fern's corsola, theo smiles at it, not gushing yet but his expression is definitely lighter.[break][break]

The polteageist, startled by the salamence, drifts backward until it bumps into Fern’s shoulder. They’re quick to offer it the escape of a pokeball. They have a space in their back garden for sinistea and polteageist to inhabit. It’ll fit nicely among them.[break][break]

“Ah, I’ve overstayed,” they murmur as they look down at the watch on their wrist. “This is where I take my leave, lest I miss my evening appointment.” Fern flashes him a grin as they turn to go with Cora scuttling along behind, “May we meet again soon, sir. Work on that panache, hm?”
