Though Dorian's role in the attack was area denial and support, the Mad Dog had spotted a massive opportunity. The missing daughter of a potential Rocket ally was spotted among the League Forces, out in the open, no less. Though she was accompanied by a strong Pokemon, Dorian had the element of surprise on his side.

With his Charizard's flames being spewed around potential escape routes, Dorian would swoop in, his Charizard attempting to pelt the Glastrier with a Flamethrower.

[attr="class","hanatext"]Desolation rains from the sky with searing heat and choking fumes, her eyes drawn to the skies as she spies the Charizard divebombing them. Sylvatica jumps at the sudden approach, unable to pull away in time and finding her icy flank licked by merciless flames. Her neighs grow louder, agitated as she stumbles to regain her footing but as soon as she does, she unleashes a storm of Icicles right at the Charizard.

"Cover our tracks." Her command is brisk, a tap on the Glastrier's flank getting the mare to run. And each step it takes creates a shower of icy dust, a heavy Mist quickly forming and obscuring the duo.

The Charizard saw the icicles forming around her, and immediately melted them with another jet of Flamethrower.

"Good girl, now after her!", Dorian commended the flying lizard.

The Charizard would do its best to track where the Glastrier was going. The thick mist did put a damper on finding her, but Dorian wasn't going to give up that easily. He would continue to follow her, attempting to follow the thickest point in the mist, where the steed was no doubt generating it.

All he could do was wait for some sort of tell.

[attr="class","hanatext"]Her footsteps are easily covered by the roars of battle all around them, but her steps remain quiet out of sheer habit. There's no way that throwing ice at a literal fire would work and she somehow curses the panic rising in her chest.

With how long she's been running for, is she beginning to lose her touch?

When dorian westcliff finally reaches the thickest point of the mist, he will find nothing but an Avalanche being thrown right at him. A lone Glastrier makes her strides, taking a hit-and-run tactic as she throws her attacks from all directions. But just as he's about to reach the icy steed, a Hydro Pump comes rushing at them from the opposite direction.

It's obvious that she's constantly keeping on the move, giving commands through a series of echoing whistles and murmurs. After all, their trick can only work for so long against someone seasoned in the art of war.

Dorian and his Charizard would be briefly caught up in an Avalanche. The Mad Dog would hang onto the Charizard for dear life, before she managed to escape and get back into the air. A Hydro Pump would come towards them, the Charizard barely dashing out of its path.

In response, Dorian would send out his Emboar, Porkchop. "Odor Sleuth!", ordered the Mad Dog.

The flaming boar would begin to sniff around for any trace of the Glastrier. Meanwhile, the Charizard would unleash an Air Slash towards the direction the Hydro Pump came from.

[attr="class","hanatext"]The way he calls out his commands makes things much easier for her, a pokeball flicked up as she recalls her Glastrier for the moment. The mare's scent still lingers all around but in the mess, a new smell arises.

A Shadowy claw Sneaks from under the Emboar, readily clawing at the threat as a wild cackle echoes through the field. But that won't be enough to distract Dorian and his Charizard, their well-timed counter attack cutting a path through the mist.

"Stars above..." There's barely enough time to cuss as she starts running once more, her Swampert firing back with Mudshots as they retreat.

Before the Emboar could react to the swap, a shadow struck the boar. The attack made him angrier more than anything. Quickly curling up into a ball, the Emboar would Roll Out towards the Mimikyu, attempting to flatten the cheap Pikachu knockoff.

Meanwhile, Dorian would spot the girl, having recalled her Glastrier. The Swampert's attempt at slinging mud at the Charizard would fail, as the Charizard would quickly ascend above the glob of mud. From her position, she would fire off a Dragon Pulse at the Swampert.

[attr="class","hanatext"]Hex sees the ball coming from a distance away, letting out a strange shriek but quickly pulling a Wood Hammer from his shadow. And despite their size difference, the Mimikyu still packs a punch, gathering ghostly energy in his makeshift weapon. With a steady aim, he strikes the Emboar with his hammer and bats it away, the shadowy energy quickly surging towards the pig in hopes of Astonishing it. Add on the fact that the momentum is enough to send him tumbling backwards and he's created more than enough space to work with for the next attack.

On the other hand, Mars isn't quiet as able to react as the little Mimikyu, growling at the Charizard as she flies out of reach. When the Dragon Pulse descends upon them, he finds himself seared by the energy waves, roaring as he flinches from the pain. Lilith clicks her tongue but doesn't hesitate to pull a pistol from her pocket, aiming it right at the dragon and firing.

No bullet seeks to tear through the Charizard, only a thin, fine-tipped needle that pierces straight through its scaled hide. Tinted with a heavy dose of foxglove poison, she wouldn't be surprised if the mighty firebreather falls from the sky.

☆ Swampert gets hurt by the Dragon Pulse and doesn't counterattack

The Emboar would be sent flying by the Wood Hammer, landing several feet away in a pile of snow. He would look on in anger and confusion at the Mimikyu.

But before the Emboar could hope to retaliate against the fake Pikachu, he would watch as Flaming Lizzy got shot out of sky with a dart gun. Dorian's eyes widened as he and his Charizard began to fall out of the sky. Porkchop would rush to catch his master.

Seeing this, Dorian quickly recalled his Charizard, before she could hit the ground, allowing the Emboar to catch his master. Once he was safe, he'd check on his Charizard, to find the poisonous needle sticking from her scale.

This would serve as the perfect distraction for the girl to make her escape.

[attr="class","hanatext"]There's always a sense of satisfaction in seeing her concoctions work, always a bitter taste left on her tongue when they do. But her grievances have to be left for later, her arm slinging around her Swampert's back as she hauls herself on and gestures for a retreat.

"Hex." Her attention trails over to the Mimikyu as they pass by, a hand on her pokeball as he lets out an unearthly screech. "Not now." A growl mixes into her sigh, and he's forced back into the ball without another word.

They can't afford to get caught by another.
