The Phantom would fly into the battlefield on his Hydreigon, from the vantage point he had taken earlier. The vigilante's first targets would be a group of Rocket grunts charging in, having been pinged by his Lucario earlier. The vengeful vigilante would waste no time, would take no prisoners, as his Hydreigon would blast the men with a Flamethrower.

Whether or not they got away, the reaper-like vigilante would spot someone else coming in. This one was more familiar, and much higher value than some rank and file grunts.

With a hand ready to deploy another Pokemon, The Phantom got ready to deal with this new threat.

[break][break] not by his fellow admins, but a group of rocket grunts that are being assaulted.

[break][break] he steps out of a PHANTOM FORCE portal in front of a disguised Thomas Benoit alongside his dragapult, who takes to the skies immediately to stop the hyreigon's assault. flames fall prey to a SURF that comes crashing down towards the dragon pokemon.

[break][break] to the stranger, jayden narrows his eyes.

[break][break] "your tyranny ends here."

[break][break] marena materializes beside him, the zeraora crashing onto the war-torn earth with a crackle of light and electricity. thunder cracks down from the sky onto the vigilante and his pokemon.

The admin would arrive by way of his Dragapult's Phantom Force. He would save his men by drowning out the flames with a Surf, the wave of which also briefly swept up the two. But thanks to Matias, and his Grodon summoning a Drought, the effects of the attack were downplayed, and didn't do much to harm them.

"I slaughter tyrants like you.", the vigilante coldly replied to the other man, his voice distorted and ethereal through the microphone.

The bolt of Thunder was trivial to strafe out of the path from, thanks to the Drought taking the field. The Phantom would quickly deploy Cobalt, his Lucario, who'd waste no time in rushing the Zeraora in a burst of Extreme Speed.

Strafing around the skies, the Hydreigon would attempt to fire off a Dragon Pulse at the Dragapult.

[break][break] they fought against rocket, so jayden would fight against them.

[break][break] his zeroara grins as the lucario comes for him in a burst of speed, but speed was no foreigner to the mythical beast. the thunderclap pokemon retaliates with a BLAZE KICK of his own, powered by the DROUGHT.

[break][break] in the sky, astlik retaliates the dragon pulse with FIRE BLAST. an explosion sounds between them, smoke clouds billowing through the air.

[break][break] in the cover of smoke, jayden flings daggers towards the vigilante himself. if the pokemon were battling, they would too.

The Lucario's rush is met with the Blaze Kick. The Lucario is sent flying by the attack. Despite this, he managed to recover with a backflip in the air, and fired off an Aura Sphere towards the Mystical Pokemon.

Kalameet stayed on the move, even as the attacks collided, forming a smokescreen between them. As Daggers emerged from the dark cloud, the vigilante was able to spot them, and swayed out of their path. In turn, he pulled out one of his pistols, and began to open fire. Kalameet would follow his lead, and fired off a Dark Pulse, hoping to strike the Dragapult through the smoke.

[attr="class","textarea"] blue light flashes through the air at an impossible speed as the aura sphere slices through. forearms are raised as the attack lands and marena winces. she throws her arms down before racing down the path, throwing her PLASMA FISTS against the other.

[break][break] gunshots fire in the distance and jayden rolls to the side to avoid them. his eyes narrow — not that he's surprised that someone from the league would attempt to maim him. in fact, it is almost a relief to know that there are at least some members of the league who are more sure-footed than others.

[break][break] with a sharp whistle, he calls his dragapult towards him. it's only in doing so that astlik barely misses the DARK PULSE sent her way, pain stinging on her tail as she does so. jayden mounts her and then takes back to the air again, just as DRAGON DARTS shoot out towards the hydreigon and it's trainer.

The Lucario watches as the Electric-type is hit by the Aura Sphere, having raised up her arms to mitigate the damage done. The Lucario watches and waits as she rushes him to strike him with her Plasma Fists. At the last moment, the Lucario summons a bone-like staff of Aura, and begins to use it to deflect her punches with a defensive Bone Rush.

The Dragapult is able to just barely dodge the Dark Pulse, and pick up her trainer, who managed to evade the vigilante's bullets. The first Dragon Dart is dodged by the Hydreigon, only for the second to strike him. Kalameet lets out a growl upon being hit by the Dreepy, before firing off another Dragon Pulse in retaliation.

[break][break] "you're foolish to side with the league," he says, even if he's not sure if the other will hear him. "when the league has failed it's citizens many times over."

[break][break] a roar from the dragapult signifies yet another FIRE BLAST, however this time when the two crash in an explosion and smoke clouds billow between them, jayden directs his pokemon into the smoke. thanks to it's ability INFILTRATOR, they're able to clear the space with ease.

[break][break] one by one, each attack of BONE RUSH is parried by the PLASMA FISTS. electricity cracks in the air as they attack each other, light bursting with each new move. at the last minute, marena twists and throws down a leg with yet one more BLAZE KICK.

As the daggers come towards them, Kalameet is able to dash to the left, in order to evade them.

"I'm not League!", declared the masked vigilante. "And you're right, the League has failed the people far too many times. Your prosperity is proof positive of that!", he'd continue ranting, before the Dragon Pulse and Fire Blast collided, creating a smokescreen for the Admin and his Dragon to use.

The Lucario would manage to Detect the Blaze kick coming just in time, and proceeded to backflip out of its path, before resuming a defensive stance.

That was when a group of Grunts filed in to back up their superior.

"I am a spirit of vengeance, born of the suffering you have inflicted upon countless innocents! Especially your victims in Kanto!", the vigilante called out.

The question was whether Jayden would stick around, or leave the fight up to the rank and file grunts that came to back him up.
