Bryan already declared war on Locke Jamison by looking him in the eye. However the nail in the coffin was the fact that bryan used his abilities to direct more of the thorns towards the young man himself. [break][break]

The eyes behind the mask were different than before, they seemed...older? Regardless, they'd be familiar nonetheless. Xerneas tree strides over to Bryan's side, the Z-move creating a small dome for the two to combat inside of like a cage match. "Xerneas. Recover with a geomancy. I'll cover you." he tells the legendary as Bryan steps forward in front of the person, rolling his arms before he gets into a fighting stance as Xerneas silently channels infinity energy into his body to enhance himself.

Locke rolled to his feet as a series of thick, black vines crashed one-by-one behind him. The thorny tendrils continued to lash out at him, cutting off his every attempt at escape as they formed an impenetrable wall around the theater.

A shimmer of light caught the courier's eye as he ducked and weaved of the thorns' reach.

"Don't!" he called out to where he sensed Latias, uncaring of how he was shouting at thin air if it kept the legendary from revealing herself.

The temporary distraction was enough for one of the tendrils to slip past their reflexes, cutting through their sleeve to slash against their right arm. Locke instinctively reeled back, despite the superficial wound, only to bump into something solid.

He sighs remembering this person, showing up every time at a pivitol moment where Bryan needed to be unhindered. He could barely remember his name however...maybe he never got it in the first place? [break][break]

Bryan stares at him, his arms crossed. He then attempts to pick up locke by the collar with one fist, his super strength assisting him in the process. Hurling the young man towards the wall of vines. "Get the hell OUT of here." he barks at him. The man's anger and annoyance being clear in his voice. [break][break]

"Theater's off limits. It's mine now." he warns him "So as a warning shot." he says grinning underneath his mask as Xerneas's GEOMANCY completes and the fairy aura activates, filling the room in a wonderous light. "Focus blast him xerneas." he calls out as between Xerneas's antlers a ball of orangish light manifests and locks onto locke. It is rather slow in nature allowing for the trainer to easily counteract if he was fast enough.

He barely had time to register that, yes, wolf-lamb mask guy had indeed gotten much taller, before he was tossed back towards the writhing wall of vines like a basketball that had fallen in the neighbor's backyard.

An impossible gust of wind buffeted him away though, as Latias flew unseen between him and the reaching tendrils. The legendary's agitation grew in the back of Locke's mind as he quickly righted himself, mingling with his own frustration at the unruly man's demand.

"Oh sure! Lemme just-"

The courier placed a foot a few inches closer to the wall, yanking it away before the lashing thorns could reach it.

His sass was not appreciated.

The Focus Blast was powerful, but slowed by size-and they weren't keen on finding out what else the legendary had to throw at them.

"Wobbu-Wobbu!" Locke called as the Wobbuffet materialized from his Pokéball between them and the oncoming ball of energy. "Mirror Coat!"

The sphere struck psychic type head-on, pushing Wobbu-Wobbu back as his trainer struggled to keep him upright from behind-before snapping back like a rubber band and sending the Focus Blast hurtling back at the opposing pair.

Where did that gust of wind come from? Was Bryan's eyes playing tricks on him? It was possible, they did recently change colors again for whatever reason. [break][break]

No matter, if it only happens once then he wouldn't care very much. What annoyed him even more was that annoying creature known as wobuffet. It reflected the Focus blast that they had sent careening towards their opponent. "Shit!" he said as Xerneas went ahead and used PROTECT to defend himself. [break][break]

Bryan crossed his arms to protect himself from the debris inside of the building from getting in his eyes. Once the dust settled Bryan hacked up a big ol wad of spit since some of it got in his mouth. "You're really annoying kid, you know that?" he comments as Bryan begins to recall xerneas. He couldn't have the pokemon get injured lest their bond begin to impair him. [break][break]

This time he sent out two pokemon instead. "Alcremie, kommo-o." he calls out as the little ball of whipped cream cheered at her time to shine and Kommo-o ruins it by stomping his feet and being a general nuisance. Kommo-o didn't even wait for Bryan to give an order and instead just charged straight at locke himself. Alcremie began to unleash an AROMATIC MIST towards the Shadow pokemon who lunged at his opponent with a DRAGON CLAW.

Wobbu-Wobbu collapsed in his trainer's arms, a consequence of taking a legendary's attack head-on even despite the type advantage. Locke returned the Wobbuffet and quickly ran through their other available Pokémon before the next strike, but to their surprise Xerneas retreated while the other man spat at the ground.

"I'm twenty-one!" they responded indignantly.

The legendary was replaced by what appeared to be a rather mismatched duo of Alcremie and Kommo-o, but the pair was quick to dismiss the courier's split judgement. A thin layer of pink mist surrounded the area, and was just as suddenly broken apart as the dragon charged directly at them.

With no Pokémon out to counter the blow, Locke raised his arms in futile defense-

And the Kommo-o froze mere feet away.

The light shifted in front of him again, and this time Latias revealed herself in full. A pink energy shimmered off the legendary's feathers as they Reflected not her surroundings but the opposing Alcremie's Type-shielding herself and her charge from the Kommo-o's claws.

Cursing internally and already dreading the consequences of his companion's impulsivity, Locke hurried to seize the opportunity of surprise by summoning his Aipom beside him, a Nasty Plot already forming between them.

Kommo-o stops in its tracks out of nowhere, huh? "What the fuck??" he says as suddenly Kommo-o stops in its tracks, seemingly pushing against an invisible force. [break][break]

The Latias pushes it back and Locke decides to pose a question upon Bryan as he was unaware of the nasty plot forming between them. "Beat me and I'll tell you. he responds annoyed as he rolls his shoulders and begins to walk towards the battle himself. "So you went and got yourself a unique looking pokemon huh? Glad you showed me it." he says as his pace slowly starts to get faster as he breaks out into a full sprint"Decorate." he orders as the Alcremie in the back shoots whipped cream into the sky, covering Bryan and his kommo-o ENHANCING THEIR OFFENSIVE STATS. [break][break]

"Now I can go full force against you without feeling bad about stomping you!" he responds as his kommo-o roars, intending to fight as well. Kommo-o slams its scales together, holding out its palms as it suddenly fires out LEECH SEED onto the strange pokemon (Latias) While Kommo-o handles the strange on Bryan leaps into the air and tries to bring his fist down upon locke and SLAMS THE FLOOR WITH HIS SUPER STRENGTH.

Pom-Pom scurried away from her trainer, who, pinned between the wall and the charging man, could only raise his arms and brace for the impact.

But Latias recognized the danger, and turned her full attention to her charge. A shimmering, opalescent aura surrounded herself and Locke, creating a sort of psychic armor around his soft human body as the legendary shared her defenses with him-seconds before the Rocket slammed down in front of him.

The distraction would cost her however, as the Kommo-o's Leech Seed sowed itself beneath her feathers and began to slowly drain her of energy.

[break][break]

Locke, meanwhile, narrowly outstepped the earthshattering strike-strong enough to leave a small carter where they were mere inches ago. Caught off-guard by the resulting shift in terrain and sheer inhuman strength on display, the courier stumbled back into the range of the thrashing vines and gasped as a thorny whip finally lashed against their spine.

The Guard Split cushioned the blow somewhat, but it still left a painful gash across their back and sent them reeling forward again like the worst game of ping pong. In spur of impulse, they moved with the momentum, leaping at their opponent with the intention of grappling onto him like the Aipom who'd seemingly abandoned them.

Said Aipom soon found her way behind the enemy lines, continuing to Plot while remaining out of sight of all but the opposing Alcremie.
