"In addition to being a phenomenal dancer, no less. These look so pretty, I almost don't want to eat them!"Then, with a playful grin breaking across her face, the red-haired smith promptly plucked a skewer off the plate and popped a single delicate ball of glossy, celadon-green dango into her mouth. "Well, I said 'almost', not 'actually'," she said with a wink, chewing the glutinous rice dumpling in her mouth. "Ooh, is that green tea? That's delicious."She ate another dango piece as she admired the feast laid out for the occasion, chuckling at Xiura's story behind the making of the fruit crepes. "I can just picture Hatterene trying to make all the crepes perfect and Incineroar enthusiastically putting his all into the crepes—probably more than he needed to." With a soft smile, Aurelie added, "You are so fortunate to have such close friendships with your Pokemon, Xiura. I envy you a little."Tilting her head toward the night sky, Aurelie found herself reflecting a little on the relationships that could exist between trainers and their Pokemon. Some saw them as tools, some as beloved pets and companions, and others still as true partners whose lives were inextricably bound with their own. She caught sight of a familiar constellation and looked back toward Xiura. "You and your Pokemon remind me of an old Kalosian fairy tale about a kind and clever girl who helped animals in need, and they helped her in return to find a great fortune and become a rich noblewoman." She pointed toward the stars that she'd been looking at. "See those stars there, the vertical line that ends in a wavy curl at the bottom? That's supposed to be the girl and her animal friends at her feet. I wonder if there's a similar Ecruteak story about that constellation, or if the story your homeland tells about it are quite different."Aurelie frowned as an unexpected shower of stars shot across the constellation she was pointing out, looking somewhat— closer to earth than she would've expected from shooting stars. Most of the time, they just looked like distant streaks of light in the sky. These shooting stars, on the other hand, looked like they were shooting from directly overhead in the sky. "Looks like the star showers are starting already," she commented a little uncertainly. Just as the words left her, there was a sudden series of sharp clattering noises on the balcony behind them, as though someone were throwing rocks across the ground. Turning around at once, so quickly that she nearly dropped her dango skewer, Aurelie wondered aloud, "What was that?"[newclass=.aurelie]width:420px;padding:40px;background:#862939;[/newclass] [newclass=.aurelie img]height:100px;width:100px;padding:15px;border:1px solid #fff;border-radius:100px;[/newclass] [newclass=.aurelie_lyrics]text-align:center;font-family:verdana;font-size:9px;text-transform:uppercase;color:#eee;letter-spacing:1px;[/newclass] [newclass=.aurelie_body]width:420px;padding:40px;background:#222;font-size:14px;line-height:16px;text-align:justify;font-family:calibri;color:#aaa;letter-spacing:.5px;[/newclass] [newclass=.aurelie_tag]text-align:center;font-size:12px;[/newclass] [newclass=.aurelie_tag a]font-size:12px;[/newclass] [newclass=.cred]text-align:center;font-size:8px;color:rgb(132, 132, 132);letter-spacing:1px;font-family:verdana;[/newclass] [newclass=.cred a]color:rgb(132, 132, 132);font-size:8px;letter-spacing:1px;font-family:verdana;[/newclass]
