"Yes unfortunately." she replies thinking Matias was talking about her mother. [break][break]

But after a moment he clarifies. "Oh, her. I think so? I haven't seen her in years." she says not really recalling who the woman really was. Probably one of her mom's socialite friends so she just waves it off.

A vileplume pops into existences, as if another entity from a different world had summoned it there. Melody hadn't sensed it's presence until right now. Melody tosses out a pokeball and sends out her Noivern to deal with it. It tries to imitate the stun spore technique that cutiefly employed to attempt to deal with Matias, but noivern was quicker on it's feet....er...wings? [break][break]

it flapped it's wings wildly, creating air slashes that dispersed the spores quickly and landed a critical hit on the strange mushroom corpse flower creature. melody tosses a pokeball in an attempt to capture it, while the pokeball shook Melody realized she had a chance to ask about a topic she wasn't exactly familiar with. [break][break]

"Matias. What was Kanto like?" she says suddenly as her encounter with Eris Halla still lingered in her mind.

Her gaze snaps to the ferroseed who fell to the floor with a thunk. Damn why didn't it hit him instead? She walks over to it and picks it up, taking care to not touch it's spikes. "Hold on big guy. I got you." she says, his face was stuck in the floor as he fell over. She places him right back onto the floor. [break][break]

it was then that melody looked up and spotted a whimsicott giggling above them both. Seems like it was the reason the iron seed fell over. Melody places it down gently and snaps her fingers and points to the whimsicott. The whimsicott tilts it's head in confusion before suddenly noivern tackles it full force while it was distracted and creates it's scariest face possible to stun the pokemon into submission. Melody tosses a pokeball and catches the cotton pokemon while it was fearing for it's life. Maybe it wont leave the pokeball out of fear? She'll deal with it later.[break][break]

Melody turns back towards Matias, about to reveal why she was asking. "I see. Was the war what caused friction between you and Eris Halla? What exactly happen? They've asked me to bring her in now that we have Chu-e Choi." she tells him, wondering how he'd react to the news.

"All I know is you tried to kill Reiner for some reason." she says. [break][break]

"She seems to have a psychotic break after talking about you and the war." she says plainly as she tries to figure out what exactly happen between them as well. She was tired of repeating it every time it comes up in her mind. [break][break]

"So I wanted to give you a chance to explain the situation before I ask her directly."she says as she pays attention to the little Snivy who was snaking itself along the grass. "Noivern!" she shouts as the pokemon bolts from the tree branches to the ground pinning the snivy down. However instead of using scary face it uses screech at first before it stops and then licks the snivy revealing a goofy face to it. [break][break]

However the pokemon was scared to death and fainted at the site of it's body limping over suddenly...oops.. Noivern quickly realizes his mistake and scuttles off the snivy and his ears tingle as he tries to hide from Melody as she'd be mad. "Noivern! Really?" she says chastizing him slightly but she throws the pokeball at the snivy to capture it. "More gentle bud." [break][break]

Matias speaks up, asking if they were cutting a deal with chu-e. "I'm just doing as I'm told Maitas. Acting in the league's interest, I know more about this situation than the rest of you. What dahlia goode or the council decide to do with them is not my decision. But Eris needs to be secured regardless of what Chu-e Choi wants."

"Oh." she says trying to correct him. "I already did it." she says "Eris is already in league custody" a confidant little smirk spreads across her face as she managed to upstage him. [break][break]

"A private cell. You're obviously are not allowed to go and see her" she says giving Matias dagger eyes as that was indeed a threat. [break][break]

His statement though, it sounded strange. Why did the league care about that little kid back then? Unless, it wasn't the league but just Eva Morales and him...how fucking weird. "Whatever though I guess. Neither of you will tell me so I wont push anymore." she notices a little dunsparce wiggling it's way across the ground. She recalls her Noivern and sends out a new pokeball, her leavanny.

leavanny without a word string shots the dunsparce immediately, catching it off guard as it panics against the silken binds holding it back. The leavanny bonks it on the head with the back of it's blade and knocks it out on one hit. Melody laughs a little bit as the dunsparce was a goof to be captured so easily and then faint after the fact. She walks over to the pokeball and picks it up and cheers for a bit. "Wooo! I got a dunsparce! Maybe it'll evolve into a dundunsparce now?" she wonders out loud.
