The eccentric trainer sprayed the Super Potion on the shiny Sceptile. It would sting just a tiny bit, but it was nothing a battle-hardened Pokémon wouldn't be able to handle, plus it healed the light bruises on his neck in practically no time. "There, all good!" The dragon-hooded girl beamed. She would have given Nagato a lollipop for being such a good patient, if she had one.

A wild Houndoom jumped on them out of the blue, but rather than the Grass type rushing to Andrea's aid like before, Remiel himself smote the bad dog with the divine thunder of Zeus! Needless to say, the young PokéManiac was incredulous at that display. "I'm fine, thanks... W-what was that thing you just did?!" She stammered in shock.

Nagato is as shocked as Andrea, but not for the same reason. He simply couldn't believe the Houndoom had gotten the jump on him. Remiel, in the meantime, answers the young lady's inquiry rather casually. "I cast a lightning bolt."

He might have elaborated further just then, but suddenly finds himself interrupted by a SAND STREAM that comes rushing in from behind. A HIPPOWDON comes tumbling out from the tall grass behind. Fortunately, his Sceptile is eager to prove himself once more and leaps in to strike it down with a LEAF BLADE. The attack is super-effective, knocking the hippo unconscious before Remiel tosses an empty ball at it.

Andrea puffed her cheeks in mild frustration, narrowing her eyes at the Galarian prince. "Humans can't cast lightning bolts, unless they're magicians or something! Are you a magician?" She questioned him further.

A wild Scrafty crept up behind the young woman, tugging at her draconic disguise. "Hey, stop that! You're gonna tear it off!" Either the Pokémon was jealous of her drip and wished to steal it, or he had confused her for a female Scrafty and was trying to court her. Either way, Regina was having none of that, sending the hoodlum flying with a slap of her mighty Dragon Tail.

Her frustration is adorable, and Remiel chuckles in response. Before he can finally elaborate further, however, a SCRAFTY tugs her attention away. Meanwhile, Nagato has climbed a tree to pull an tasty apple down from one of its branches... only to find a FLAPPLE instead.

Quite annoyed that it was awoken, the wyrm crashes into the Sceptile with a WING ATTACK. Though super-effective, however, Nagato hisses and strikes back with a DUAL CHOP, debilitating the Flapple's wings. Afterward, Remiel pulls out another Luxury Ball and casts it for a swift capture.

Returning his attention to Andrea, he continues. "I'm no magician, I assure you. Though I suppose being an AVATAR is the closest thing one can get to performing 'magic' in this reality..." He adds with a pensive look.

Andrea's eyes shot wide open. "You're an avatar?! Where's your legendary Pokémon? Show me!" The dragon fanatic demanded, beaming with enthusiasm and anticipation.

Her short attention span was compromised by a tiny blue elephant strolling past them, causing the young woman's eyes to sparkle like rubies. "O.M.G. IT'S A PHANPY!" She let out a shrill cry of utter glee.

According to a dubious internet article, Phanpy's ancestors had existed since prehistoric times, sporting tusks the size of trees. Granted, there was a non-zero possibility that theory was a load of baloney, but if it was true...

"Let's try to catch this one! Horn Drill!" The trainer of dragons commanded her Tyrantrum, which spun its massive body like a drill, ramming its crest-shaped head into the much smaller creature. Miraculously, the wild Phanpy Endured the hit, barely not fainting from what would have been a one-hit KO otherwise. What a tough little cutie!

Still, it had sustained enough damage that Andrea felt safe enough throwing one of her spare Pokéballs at it.

Remiel laughs. "I'm partnered with ZEKROM, though I'm afraid he's taking a day off at the draciary right now." He smiles, clearly subject to the sheer force of her infectious excitement and enthusiasm.

Meanwhile, just nearby, his Sceptile is having a curious interaction with a lookalike. Nagato sniffs at this other shiny Sceptile and it returns the gesture as the two of them cautiously encircle one another. When Nagato is sure this is some sort of ILLUSION, however, he begins to growl. Then, with a sudden DUAL CHOP, he knocks the almost perfect doppelganger out and reveals it to be a little ZORUA.

Though having stopped to briefly admire the poise of Andrea's Tyrantrum, Remiel turns to pull out an empty Luxury Ball and toss it down for a capture. Nagato proudly huffs.

If Andrea knew what a Zekrom was, she would be thoroughly impressed. Instead, she was left wondering. Hoenn was chock-full of avatars, it seemed, and they all boasted incredible powers. Could avatars be the bridge between humans and Pokémon?

After she'd caught that Phanpy, a new critter showed up, and this one knew how to make an entrance, sparkling so beautifully upon entering combat. "It's a Jangmo-o! And it's a shiny!" The dragon fanatic exclaimed, in awe that she'd run into a shiny out in the wild.

Not wanting to let this extremely rare chance slip away, the young PokéManiac sent her Tyranitar back into battle. The monstrous, bipedal lizard tanked the opponent's Dragon Breath nicely, and paid it back with... well, Payback. She followed it up with a Thunder Wave, paralyzing the diminutive dragon.

"It was a pleasure meeting you, sir. I hope to see your draciary soon!" Andrea gave a quick bow to the Galarian prince, before hurling a ball at the hurt and paralyzed Jangmo-o.

Remiel was pleasantly surprised for them to have found a SHINY JANGMO-O. Urging Andrea to go for it, he stood and watched as she sent her TYRANITAR into battle. When a VULLABY threatened to interrupt said battle, however, his Sceptile reeled it back with the vines of a NATURE POWER, despite a FURY ATTACK in protest.

"Hush now, this is between them," Remiel says to the baby bird, pulling out an empty Luxury Ball before tossing it down. Its incessant squawking quiets with a flash.

Returning his attention to the young woman, however, the ambassador finds that her encounter with the Jangmo-o has concluded. He claps as he approaches closer. "Well done! It was a pleasure meeting you as well, Andrea. You're welcome to visit anytime." He adds, reaching into his wallet to pull out a business card and hand it to her.

"All my contact information is there. Just call whenever you'd like to meet again. Perhaps we can discuss the science around your ultimate goal a bit more." He smiles, stepping away to wave goodbye.

"Til then!"
