Sometimes, visiting old familiar places was a good way to get one's mind back on track. Andrea hadn't dropped by to see her folks in Fallarbor Town for a long while, and it had been even longer since the last time she had explored the nearby routes in search of wild critters.

Route 114 was known to house many Ground, Dark and Dragon types, all of which were ideal for a devoted PokéManiac like herself. Walking amidst the tall grass brought back fond memories of playing here as a little child. Hopefully no-one would mistake her for an actual Pokémon this time around. Her bright purple costume could look very convincing from a distance, after all.

ROUTE 114 was just north of his estate. Sometimes, when he found himself really engaged with exploring the wilds for possible excavation sites, Remiel would wander up here without even noticing it. Today, most certainly, was one of those days. The terrain surrounding METEOR FALLS was quite beautiful; could he really be blamed?

NAGATO, his Hoenn-bred SHINY SCEPTILE, darts from tree branch to tree branch like a ninja as its master roams about the moody forest. When he spots something in the tall grass of a clearing nearby, however, the royal comes to a stop. The figure was unlike anything he'd seen before. Perhaps an otherworldly Pokémon that had slipped through?

He sharply whistles to find out.

Andrea darted her dragon-hooded head towards the newcomer, wondering what he wanted from her. She was used to being whistled at by men from her most recent beach excursion with nagi miwa, but this time she wasn't even wearing her swimsuit that so effortlessly invited the male gaze.

Before she could ponder further, a wild Krookodile jumped out of the tall grass, trying to take a Bite out of her with its snapping jaws. The young PokéManiac swiftly sent her Tyranitar out to defend her. "Go, Sandy! Hyper Beam!"

The reptilian behemoth fired a devastating beam of energy from its mouth, sending the scaled delinquent flying, while the field resounded with the iconic 8-bit sound that was ASMR to this writer's ears.

Unfortunately, the Tyranitar's mandatory ability also kicked in at that moment, summoning a Sandstorm. With his view blotted out by the roaring gale of dust and debris, Remiel would now have a harder time tracing the movements of this otherworldly, bright purple 'Pokémon' he was after.

The KROOKODILE attack, and the summoning of a TYRANITAR, certainly alerted Remiel to the fact that this was no Pokémon. In fact, when he managed to spot the woman's face and bright red hair in all that commotion, he realized that he recognized her. A low GROWL from behind, however, tears his attention away before he spins around.

Thankfully, Nagato descends from the tree branch above with a DUAL CHOP— just in time to save his master from an UMBREON who had been on the verge of pouncing.

After thanking his Sceptile, the royal pulls out an empty luxury ball from his pack and tosses it down at the unconscious creature. Then, after retrieving it, he turns back to the aforementioned woman and offers a short wave. "Hello there. Andrea Vaneau is your name... right? We met at the hot spring some time ago." He smiles.

"H-how do you know my name?!" A bewildered Andrea blurted out, coughing as she got a bit of sand in her throat. Alright, that did it! The Tyranitar had to be put on timeout. However, she still needed a bodyguard, so she switched it out for an equally fearsome-looking Tyrantrum.

She could've sworn she had met a different twink-ish individual at the hot springs, but then again, it had been a long time and her memory was foggy. Hoenn was surprisingly small, so they probably had met before one way or another.

Her Tyrantrum did its job of protecting her well. The T-Rex's mere presence was enough to scare off a wild Murkrow that fearfully fluttered off.

Before the MURKROW can take off and disappear amongst the leaves in the trees, however, Nagato strikes it down with a DUAL CHOP. Its feathers float down towards the ground like SNOWFLAKES.

Remiel clicks his tongue and shakes his head at the act, though reaches into his pack for an empty ball anyway. "No need to be so aggressive, now, Nagato," He scolds, tossing the ball towards the unconscious bird. After securing it, however, he returns his attention to the young woman in the suit.

"You know, now that I think about it..." He says, pausing in thought for a moment. "Perhaps we've stumbled into each other elsewhere. Nevertheless, I should introduce myself: my name is Remiel Calcifet ." He states, offering a polite half-bow thereafter.

"Oooh, what an interesting greeting! Nice to re-meet you, Mr. Calcifet!" Andrea mimicked the polite half-bow, smiling brightly.

The dragon-hooded girl caught a glimpse of a wild Deino hiding in the tall grass, bringing her fond memories of when Chomper had been but a small lad.

Soon, her wistful gaze shifted to the Galarian blue blood's reptilian partner. "Your Sceptile looks strong! Was that Dual Chop it just used?" She asked, flexing her near encyclopedic knowledge of Dragon-type moves.

His Garchomp also took notice of the DEINO in the grass and, as if to impress the red-head even further, leapt towards it with another display of its DUAL CHOP. The little creature ROARED angrily as the Sceptile pinned it down. Remiel sighed at his lizard's behavior, then pulled out another empty ball to toss it at the helpless little Deino.

Returning to the conversation at hand, however, Remiel smiles at Andrea's gesture and nods. "Nice to 're-meet' you as well. Oh, and thank you. Nagato here is actually one of my most formidable dragons. He's very proud of his Dual Chop... though I suppose that much is evident." He chuckles, watching as the creature lurks in the grass.

"I see, I see. Nice to meet you too, Nagato!" The draconic cosplayer jovially waved at the large, turquoise lizard. "I guess I should introduce you to my friend too. Her name is Regina." She added, pointing towards her Tyrantrum.

Said Tyrantrum was in the middle of chasing down a wild Sandile that the apex predator saw as dinner, forcing the little crocodile to hastily flee for its life.

Coincidentally, Andrea's t-rex manages to run the little SANDILE straight into his Sceptile's path. It pounces upon the fresh prey with a LEAF BLADE, ensuring it falls unconscious while also keeping an eye on the approaching dinosaur with a protective hiss. Then it picks up its prey with its mouth before dashing off and dropping it at Remiel's feet.

Sparing a moment to produce an empty ball from his pack and capture the offering, Remiel then saunters over to the TYRANTRUM and reaches up with a hand. "Pleasure meeting you, Regina," He smiles, hoping to gently pat her snout. "You're quite a lovely lady, aren't you?"

Something of a Tyrantrum collector, Remiel could certainly appreciate a well-bred t-rex when he saw one. It showed in the bright gleam of his cobalt-blue eyes as he smiled.
