"You sure are catching lots of Pokémon!" Andrea observed as Remiel's Sceptile kept knocking out wild critters left and right.

Regina responded cordially to the snout pat, closing her eyes blissfully and leaning against the Galarian ambassador's hand. Being complimented had sure helped her warm up to him. This man knew how to talk to a lady.

Andrea smiled warmly at the wholesome interaction. Having to fret on a near daily basis about incoming meteorites, alien invasions and the HEAT DEATH of the universe, it felt nice to enjoy little moments like these.

Nearby, a Whiscash poked its head out of a small, circular hole in the middle of a frozen pond, before quickly diving back into the water.

Turning his attention back to the costumed woman, Remiel leaves the Tyrantrum to resume her hunting as he responds. "Ah, yes, well... I own and operate a biodome just north of RUSTBORO CITY. It's a dragon sanctuary, really. Though it has plenty of room for other wildlife to help sustain its ecosystem."

Meanwhile, nearby, the Sceptile whips its LEAF BLADE around the WHISCASH's tail before it dives down completely. Then, with one powerful tug, rips the fish out from the water before landing it at Remiel's feet. When it begins to interrupt their conversation with a flailing MUD SPORT, the royal is sure to swiftly produce an empty ball and capture it.

Andrea's eyes widened in awe. "Whoa! A dragon sanctuary? I'd love to see that!" She beamed, making a mental note to visit Rustboro City at her earliest convenience.

Her middling attention span was stolen by a wild Larvitar popping out of the tall grass. This rare occasion called for Sandy to be brought back from the timeout corner, bringing with her another roaring Sandstorm.

The dragon fanatic extended an Oran Berry as a peace offering. "Hello, little one. We're not gonna hurt you. I'm Andrea and this is Sandy. Wanna be our friend?" She requested with a warm smile. Not everything had to be resolved with violence.

While apprehensive at first, the Larvitar took a good look at its own fully-evolved form, and reasoned that perhaps this weirdly-dressed trainer could help it evolve into a Tyranitar too. Approaching the duo, it tentatively nibbled on the berry, while allowing the human to pet its pointy head.

"There we go. Good girl!" Andrea cooed, using one of her spare balls to capture the tamed creature. Sandy looked delighted to have another of her kind added into the team, flashing a wide, fanged grin.

After watching the red-head bond with the Larvitar, the prince smiles. "You're more than welcome to visit, I'm sure I'd enjoy showing you around. It seems you have a natural talent for befriending Pokémon, too. That will come in handy."

Just as he supposed the costume she wore might contribute to that, however, his sharp cobalt hues spot a MIGHTYENA lurking in the tall grass behind her. Having confused the lass for prey, it leaps forward with a crackling THUNDER FANG before being DETECTED by Remiel's Sceptile. The attack is thwarted, and the wolf puts on a SCARY FACE to try and dissuade the lizard from interfering further.

But, with a bit of NATURE POWER, the Mightyena finds itself consumed by a vice-grip of thick roots instead. Afterward, Remiel pulls out an empty toll and tosses it.

A dragon sanctuary... The young PokéManiac daydreamed about the kinds of dragons she might find over there; from fearsome Garchomp, to huggable Goodra, and even old Drampa with their majestic BEARDS. She wanted to cherish them all!

Andrea called her Pokémon back into their balls... just in time for a feral Mightyena to jump her from behind. Luckily, Remiel's Sceptile came to the rescue, swiftly dealing with the bloodthirsty canine. "Thanks, Nagato!" The young cosplayer nodded in appreciation.

A NICKIT hides in the tall grass behind Remiel, STAKING OUT the prince for a swift steal. When his attention is turned away to regard Andrea, it takes that moment to dart towards his pack and snag a granola bar. Just as it begins to flee, however, it is struck down with a LEAF BLADE from afar. Remiel turns to see it lying unconscious with the bar hanging out of its mouth. He sighs.

His Sceptile, in the meantime, has grown some proverbial CHEST HAIR after hearing the pretty lady thank him.

"I'll feed you this when you awaken..." He mutters, pulling out an empty luxury ball to capture it, then placing the granola bar back into his pack. Returning his attention to the young red-head, however, he smiles. "So what were you doing out here, if I may ask? Conducting research of some sort with your costume?" The Galarian asks.

Andrea eagerly nodded at the Galarian blue blood's query. "Why yes, this is my Pokémon disguise! Fooled you, didn't it?" She giggled, twirling around herself in her obnoxious getup, before stopping, raising her gnarled hands above her head and letting out a high-pitched roar of sorts. "RAWR~!"

A wild Nidoqueen that happened to be passing by stared curiously at the gaudily-dressed human, wondering why she made such weird noises.

"I'm actually researching tons of stuff." The eccentric cosplayer continued, smugly adjusting her glasses. "I'm currently gathering material for my thesis on human-Pokémon metamorphosis. It's a work in progress, but when it's done, it's gonna take the scientific world by storm!" She confidently asserted.

Remiel chuckles at the performance, nodding in agreement. She was pretty cute. "For a second there you certainly did," He admits, watching as his Sceptile imitates Andrea's performance with the NIDOQUEEN. When he does it, however, he's met with aggression: a rough shove and a GROWL. Nagato growls back and DUAL CHOPS.

"I thought you might have been a Pokémon from the rifts," Remiel continues, sighing as he pulls out an empty Luxury Ball. The Nidoqueen has COUNTERED by placing the smaller Sceptile in a chokehold. The ambassador saves the day by tossing his ball for a capture. "The subject of your research is fascinating, however. Are you hoping to become something more in the future yourself?"

Nearby, the Sceptile hacks and coughs as it recovers from the chokehold it was saved from. It had very nearly been put to SLEEP! He's really quite embarrassed now.

The dragon-costumed girl jovially nodded at Remiel's subsequent query. "Yes indeed! My dream- no, my purpose is to one day shed my human skin and be reborn as a Pokémon!" She proudly proclaimed, not caring whether she got derided or scoffed at for her obscene aspiration.

Her prideful look gave way to a look of worry as soon as she noticed the hacking and coughing Sceptile. "Oh, poor Nagato looks hurt. I might have something to heal him..." She said, reaching for one of her costume's pockets and pulling out a Super Potion.

Remiel's eyes widen slightly at her confirmation, though he certainly doesn't scoff. "A human metamorphosis..." He mutters, fascinated by the idea. "I suppose that's not entirely out of the scope of possibility."

Meanwhile, Andrea takes a moment to heal his Sceptile with a Super Potion. The act of kindness inspires Remiel to smile, though his expression immediately grows stern when he spots a HOUNDOOM lurking in the tall grass behind them.

Before it can descend upon them with a FEINT ATTACK, the ambassador summons a LIGHTNING JAVELIN in his hand before striking it down. In the wake of that attack, wisps of electricity scatter harmlessly over Andrea and Nagato.

"Are you okay?" Remiel asks, pulling an empty Luxury Ball out of his pack to seal the Houndoom away.
