Amor simply stared at the email that was currently brought up on his HoloWatch, and he quirked a brow. Had she somehow found out about his double life? Did she know that he was Seraphim? He doubted that the two Underbosses, or Oscar would have ratted him out to another. That would go against the deal he had made with them. No they wouldn't do that, but the email itself was vague as an invitation. So he informed Walter of the details, and the pair of them teleported to Sootopolis using their Gallade, and Beeheeyem. Of course he knew where to go, but the place was so suppose to be a top secret research facility.

Seraphim knew where it was. Amor didn't. There had to be a clear distinction, if he just walked in she would grow suspicious of him, and try to figure out how he knew. Leading a double life was problematic sometimes, but it would appear he wouldn't have to worry to much as she had graciously sent an escort for him. A trio of faceless grunts were awaiting him at the place she had designated him to go. Of course they weren't dressed as rockets, just looked like normal civilians, but he knew better. And so the NPC's escorted him, and Walter to the research facility that was exclusive to the Rockets.

The dreaded feeling of him about to get executed crept up the nape of his neck, but the grunts did nothing, and when they came to the facility, they told Walter to wait outside. He was about to protest, but Amor held his hand up.

"It'll be fine. Don't worry." He spoke easily to the elderly man who grimaced.

"You always say that, and then you turn up bloody, and almost dismembered. If I feel something off, a single particle of dust misplaced. I'm coming in." And his tone brooked no argument.

"I know." He said with a smile to his butler before he walked inside, and there she was. The send of his invitation. One Lulu Flint and he quirked a brow. "It's not often a woman summons me to a place that looks like it belongs in a Spy Movie." Holding up his hands in mock surrender he smiled at her politely. "How can I help you today Ms. Flint? It has been a long time since we last spoke." She had done him a huge favor long ago by introducing him to oscar clayton. Which lead to him befriending his fellow CEO, and investing in his company. So honestly he did owe her a debt in his mind, but the question was, could he pay it?

but maybe amor was in good company, in terms of his risky business. when she did find out of his new loyalties, it was unlikely to be a surprise to her. his recalling of rose industries’ node technology from the league as they faced the apocalypse, along with his business with oscar clayton had made him the most obvious choice to bring in on something of great interest: primal energy.[break][break]

He just chuckled a little bit, he was well aware of her security measures, and he wasn't in the mood to test them out either. At her mentioning of not saying hello in the cloud he shrugged a bit.

"Everyone was busy deciding whether or not to trust a random psychopath who was interested in playing a game like out of a bad horror movie. I understand the lack of formality." It was his attempt at humor albeit he found it funny, but whether anyone else did was up for a wild guess. Though her next statement did draw his eyes directly to her face, as she had asked him about his help on Primal Energy. Of course it was no secret that he had developed the Primal Nodes alongside Eva Morales . He also knew that Rocket was currently in possession of a Primal Shard, since he was the one who ratted out the wielder. Perhaps because he didn't want it kept away from him, or some other mysterious reason.

"The League is indeed very stingy, it took me over a year to be able to study an inert meteor, and the fulfillment of said promise didn't even come from the one who made it." He relaxed if this was just a study session he had no reason to worry about being executed for the moment. "I could indeed help you out, but I am a businessman first, and foremost. So the question that begs asking is what do I get out of it?" Of course he assumed she had seen this coming, so he was curious as to what her proposal would be.

Was he playing with fire? Absolutely. Was he more than likely going to get burned? Probably. Did any of that matter? Not in the slightest. He couldn't mention that he knew they had a shard, lest he raise suspicion, and then get detained. It would be a very awkward scenario for all of them.

his quick cut to the chase was appreciated, evident by the curl of her smile. it was nice when people could be bought, although one could always question the strength of their loyalties over the long run.[break][break]

briefly, her eyes jumped to a few heads around the room before she paced a little closer, deciding they didn’t need an office to talk.[break][break]

When she mentioned what could appeal to him, and brought up money he had to stifle a small laugh.

"Out of all my dealings, I must say. You are the first to just outright offer me money. I don't mean to offend of course it just caught me off guard a little bit. Money has little worth to me, the more you have, the less meaning it has." And Amor had a lot of it already. "And I don't think you could afford that price." He said with an easy smile. He wasn't trying to discount whatever wealth she herself may have, or the resources she had, but Amor was expensive. A few million was like cents to him. "Now collaboration on the other hand." He nodded to her lacing his fingers together, and resting his chin on them as he leaned forward on one of the tables to relax a bit more.

"That is worth far more than money. What kind of collaboration did you have in mind? I have a number of projects I could use help on. Someone that can view things from different angles. An echo chamber is the death of research after all." Though it was intriguing she brought it up. "Or did you want to let me in on some of your experiments instead?" Either way was fine for him.

A golden opportunity where he was at a significant negotiating disadvantage. Of course he had a counter offer prepared, but it was something that she wouldn't go for. Because if she did, he would have to question her on the reasoning thoroughly. Having someone help him with a few of his projects though wasn't such a bad thing however.

"You are correct which does put me at a distinct disadvantage. So I suppose I will have to tuck away my counter offer." His normal charming smile wasn't lost in the slightest, and he shrugged easily. "I'll take your knowledge to help my projects along for the time being. Though I will preface our deal with this. I've not had an actual sustainable live source of primal energy to study myself." It would do him no good to lie. "Despite that I have been around to see certain phenomenon and taken note of it all, along with everything I learned from the every so stingy League." He explained to her.

"So before we get incredibly nerdy. I have only a single question." His hawk-like pupils trained themselves on her. "What do you know of Primal Energy already? I don't want to repeat things you may already know, if that makes sense?" That way he could just complete her index of knowledge rather than repeat it.

So she had the same baseline knowledge that most people did, but he had some things that he knew, perhaps some things that not even Eva Morales knew with his own testing, and experimenting. Though very few were willing to push things as far as he was willing to.

"I see so you know the basics. There are a few nuances, but you are both right, and wrong." He said to her, and thought for a moment. "It depends on the density of the energy you are working with. However it is possible to not die from Primal Energy, at least in the case of Pokemon." He would bring his HoloWatch up to his chest so she could see clearly, and a holographic image of a small fragment would appear. Much smaller than an actual shard. "If the shard is around this size, it will cause the normal side effects of Primal Energy infusion in Pokemon. Empowering them and giving heightened aggression, though only temporarily. They won't die, but repeated exposure can potentially kill them since it will wear down their body." He explained to her.

"As for dimensional travel that is the main use of it correct. However what world you wind up with is entirely random from what I have gathered. I have a theory that if you can replicate the conditions on which someone entered one particular world, you could travel to the same place. Conditions include the source of Primal Energy whether it be a shard, or a pokemon infused with it. The location within Hoenn, whether it was a Mega Evolved Pokemon, or a Z-Move, or both that interacted with the Primal Energy." He was trying to be as informative, and concise as possible. "Then that doesn't even go into the subject of the type of the move used, or the Pokemon who used it. These are theories I have yet to test as I myself don't have a primal shard. Or a Pokemon infused with enough of the stuff." He smiled wryly.

"Think of it as a sort of formula for multiversal travel. It is unknown if Terastal Energy will have a unique reaction with Primal Energy as of this time since it's the latest alien source." He sighed a little. "I happen to know a piece of a formula to another world, but until I can get my hands on a source of the stuff. It remains untested." He shrugged a little.

"For a time I had wondered if Mega Stones, and Primal Energy shared a similar wavelength, and I have conclusively found that they do not sadly. I had hoped to potentially manufacture artificial primal shards, but that probably won't ever happen." Regidrago would have to wait a little longer unfortunately if it was even still alive at this point. Shaking his head. "That is the bulk of it, I hope that satisfies you to some extent."

it was certainly possible that they'd been caused by any number of other events that had occurred that day, but she presented the suggestion as though she stood behind this particular theory.

He let the information sink in for a moment.

"It's possible, but I've seen, and heard of rifts opening even before that, so it didn't occur to me. Perhaps the permanence of these rifts is due to that? Though I would argue that the Primal Energy rebounding on itself into the points is just as likely a cause as well." They would need to test this to find out for sure. "If my sources are correct, the Primal Points made contact with the meteor, but some of them were refracted back at themselves." Tapping his cheek lightly.

"It's either a result of the rebound, something in that meteor affected the beam before it returned. Or the massive explosion of primal energy from when the beams hit the Primal Points, just tore through the already thin veil." In his opinion it was more likely the latter, but the first scenario deserved to be tested as well.

"I'd prefer a more concrete test of Terastal, and Primal before leaping to conclusions. But that won't happen any time soon." He said as he was lost in thought. "Was the meteor only made up of Terastal Crystals? I don't know what Data you have those events, but it would be worth looking into."

in fact, it would be mere days before they had concrete tests. their scientists were developing their own version of the tera orb, and rocket was already in possession of terastal shards. once the primal shards in their inventory were delivered to this very facility, they would have their answer.[break][break]

”we are in agreement on that, certainly. i have no doubt the secrets of the terastal phenomenon will unfold to us soon enough. i’m sure the league is looking into it. if you hear of anything, i’d love to know.”[break][break]

At her mentioning that the meteor was also made of rock, he saw the twinkle of amusement in her eye, and he let out a little bit of a laugh. He walked into that one, he deserved it. Perhaps they would get along after all. He gave a nod to her question, if they were going to collaborate together he had no intention of hiding any interesting findings as long as she didn't leave him out either, but it was her final question that sparked a quirk of the brow.

"Well since most of your research is off the table, I obviously won't be revealing everything I want to accomplish. I think we both stand to garner some trust from each other over time. But my current project is this." He tapped his HoloWatch, and in front of her was a 3D model of some sort of device. It wasn't a schematic, or blueprint, just something akin to a little figurine.

"For a while now I have wracked my brains out about traveling to other dimensions, but attempting to make it more stable. Allow the portals to stay open for longer, for longer expeditions, similar to the ones that are open now." He expressed to her. "So I did some digging, and learned about the Three Day War, where the Megalopolans attacked. I don't think they used something as inferior as a Primal Shard to bring what amounts to a literal army here. So I thought to myself, what if they used devices to rip open wormholes?" That of course was the only lead he had so far. Any access to that tech would surely be locked away by the League, and thus he was just gonna have to build it himself.

"Primal shards are the most well known energy source that can be used to cross dimensions, perhaps the Tera Crystals make those portals more stable? However all of that is useless if you don't have the correct formula to get into the exact dimension you wish to visit. I have two out of three of these components myself. I have a Formula, or most of one. I have access to Tera Crystals. So now I am just building a machine without a heart, until I get one." It was a simple desire. "And on a more personal note, there is a Pokemon I wish to retrieve. I watched it go toe to toe with Groudon during that fiasco. If my formula is correct, I believe I can get it." Did he have to add in that last part, no, but it was more a sign of good will from him to her if anything.

"Though it's all simply a theory until it isn't." He said with an easy smile.

until she knew of his mutual affiliation, he would get little from her. it was part of being in their world. time in prison had taught her plenty. but, in the end, they possessed many of the same goals. goals she had possessed since the war he’d referenced.[break][break]
perhaps it was not giving so much away to simply point him in the right direction. to show him that for all his digging, the information had been sitting right there on the top soil.[break][break]

though primal energy had been a mystery to her, without the ways to study, her work with mega stones and infinity energy had been research that now helped to power most of hoenn. it had made her rich beyond her wildest dreams. it was what they, team rocket, had begun to specialize in.[break][break]
