The soft click of Oscar's steel heeled loafers would signal his arrival. Emerging from the shadows to join Rocket's newest beast, Zev would notice that Oscar was adorned with a black suit of his own. With his gloved hands resting in his pockets, Oscar gave Zev a quick scan before smirking.

"Well now one of us needs to go home and change."

Chuckling at his own joke, Oscar pulled a silver cigarette case from his inner coat pocket and opened it to reveal an array of lollipops. He would slide a pink one in his mouth before aiming the case toward Zev to offer him one. After Zev made his choice Oscar would put away the case before turning his gaze toward the apartments. 

The building, if you could call it that, looked down right ancient. Only the truly desperate would consider hiding out in such a wretched ruin, not that hiding will do them any good. Oscar's lollipop hung loosely from his lips as he pulled out a red pokeball.

"Orders were clear. No survivors, no mercy. Are you ready to roll or do you need a minute?"

Oscar's crimson eyes slowly leered toward Zev, his his expression placid as he waited for an answer.

Zev Harcourt

Their journey up the stairs was quiet, the tapping of their respective footwear echoing up the bare walls of the stairwell. Oscar had expected at least a few of the turncoats to take defensive positions in the lobby, but after finding it empty he simply assumed they did not have the numbers to properly fortify this building. Oscar stayed attentive as they ascended though, believing their targets to be ready to defend themselves.

That is until they reached the third floor. As they approached bottom of the third floor's flight, Oscar put out his arm to slow Zev. He signaled upward, hopefully successfully pointing out that there was someone sitting by the top of the stairs mostly out of sight. If it were not for their elbow sticking out ever so slightly, they may have gone unnoticed. Oscar nodded toward Zev, their work was about to begin. On the soles of his shoes, Oscar ran up the steps and raised his red pokeball to slam it into the guard.

He stopped short however, dumbfounded by what he saw. Oscar relaxed, thumbing toward the guard while holding back laughter. If Zev followed or gone up with Oscar, he would find that the guard on duty had fallen asleep on the job. It would seem that Rocket did not lose any bright agents this go around. Oscar looked to Zev, leaving what to do about this fool up to him.

Zev Harcourt

Oscar crunched on his sucker as Zev took point, burning the sleeping guard to a crisp. Well--burning his soul to a crisp, the body seemed fine. The screaming of the guard's spirit was haunting, but Oscar was not phased. He was more focused on the reinforcements the screaming would attract; there was no way the guard's comrades would be able to ignore it.

As the soul was slurped up by the chandelure, Oscar discarded his sucker stick and raised the red pokeball he had been holding in his hand. "Show time." The ball opened, and Oscar's Genesect would emerge with a flash of light. The cyber hunter looked to Oscar for orders, and Oscar would point to the nearby door that would no doubt lead into the third floor. "Open the door please."

Genesect nodded, running in front of the door and prepping its cannon. Oscar pulled out a pair of sunglasses from within his coat and carefully donned them as Genesect's cannon charged. A moment later it would unleash a dazzling blast, a surging storm of color and energy that would effortlessly disintegrate the door (Techno Blast.

When the attack ended, Oscar removed his sunglasses and peeked in. It would seem that the blast traveled a lot further through the third floor's hall then expected, creating a hole on the other side. Additionally, a few of the sleeping guard's comrades must have been on their way--as three freshly charred bodies could be seen close to the stairwell door. A door slammed half way down the hall, that must have been the flat the traitors were hiding out in. Oscar clicked his tongue, and Genesect would begin stomping down the hallway--with Oscar and Zev hopefully right behind.

Zev Harcourt

Oscar perked up as he and his comrade followed Genesect down the hall. It had been a while since someone in Rocket did not recognize the infamous cyber bug, and Oscar was more than happy to share and tell.

"Nah, it's kinda tragic really. It's name is Genesect, and our previous boss made it by fusing a bunch of ancient pokemon parts with a cybernetic exoskeleton--that is also made out of other pokemon. It's chill though, really came a long way."

The froslass caught Oscar off guard, but luckily Zev's chandelure was there to provide some support. The ghost was knocked out, and Oscar popped his tongue loudly. Understanding the cue, Genesect marched over and began repeatedly stabbing the froslass until its torn body faded back into the shadows (Fell Stinger). No witnesses, not even pokemon.

Oscar nodded toward the door that had slammed earlier, it was just up ahead. However, he would stop short and begin tapping his foot as he contemplated something silently. Zev would not have to wait long to hear his thoughts.

"If I were hiding in this shit hole, I would misdirect my pursuers by slamming the wrong door. We'll have to search every room to be safe."

After a beat of silence, Oscar would pop his tongue twice. "Rampage." Genesect shuddered, its head rising upward as it let out a metallic shriek--its battlecry. It busted through the nearest door, and a pokemon's cry could be heard before being abruptly silenced. It then burst from the room and smashed through another door--a cycle it shall continue until nothing was left alive.

Zev Harcourt

"You know it!" Oscar said with some faux cheer. He too was both fascinated and disturbed by the mad-science made real, though by now he has done experiments equally as heinous. Anything to find that next big step toward domination. Oscar was always sad that he did not get to meet Cadis, they probably would have had a lot to talk about. 

Oscar nodded at Zev's second remark, "You're in lucky actually, our scientists have perfected its creation method. Soon everyone in Rocket will have a Genesect of their own. Genesect is--less than enthused." Oscar had shared with Genesect not too long ago that it would soon have siblings, other Genesect that it could relate to. At first Genesect seemed indifferent, perhaps it could not comprehend that it was no longer going to be the only one of its kind. However, the intensity of their training that day told Oscar everything he needed to know. For some reason, Genesect was furious.

Zev ran off to help clear the rooms, and Oscar was going to step in to help as well but between Zev and Genesect he would not be able to get to a room faster than they did. Instead he decided to chill at the end of the hall, if anyone happened to slip through Oscar would be there to intercept. 

At the end of the hall, Genesect burst open the last room on its side and stormed in. There were--prolonged screams followed by a series of explosions. There must have been a surplus of individuals in that room, and Genesect had cleared them out with Magnet Bombs. Oscar shook his head roughly once, he has done this kind of thing a lot during his time as Beast but sometimes the noises still got to him.

Gensect eventually exited the room, stomping down the hallway. Its black paintjob looked particularly menacing covered in blood, if Oscar were its target he would be absolutely terrified. Luckily he did not have to worry about that, instead he simply tsked as he examined the blood. "Great, now we gotta wash you." Genesect slouched, it did not enjoy its carwash like cleaning regiment. Oscar shrugged, "You can't go around covered in blood, sorry. I'll give you some extra waxing afterwards. Promise." Genesect perked up at its favorite part of the process, and looked toward the rooms Zev was storming through. Once Zev was finished, Oscar would nod his way and speak. "Good job tonight, you're gonna fit right in. You wanna do another sweep or can we burn this place to the ground and go home?"
