Just then, Remiel spots a WALREIN that is ROLLING OUT from a nearby snowy hill. It is headed directly for them, though his Aurorus braces herself when she notices it. Deciding it would be safer to eliminate the threat before it crashed into them, however, the ambassador orders an attack and watches as it is HYPER BEAMED.

They stride forward and find the unconscious Walrein in a steaming crater afterward. Remiel produces an empty Luxury Ball from his pack and casts it down into that pit. Then, continuing the search for Kyurem, they move along.

it is now their turn to cause a ruckus as they come across a particularly aggressive frosmoth. the ice-type's FAIRY WIND is what causes the winds to howl, picking up speed as sharp particles look to cut into avalugg and theo by extension.[break][break]

the avalugg tips up enough to shield theo from the FAIRY WIND. in fact, it tips enough for him to simply slide off its back, allowing it to charge forward to slam into the frosmoth with a DOUBLE-EDGE that sounds like a loud car crash.[break][break]

the frosmoth slumps to the ground where a pokeball finds it.

An ancient Pokémon trudges through the snow, shoveling through it with its massive tombstone-like crown. Some might wonder if BASTIODON might seem a familiar sight to Pokémon such as Aurorus. The latter had existed during the late Jurassic period, however, while the former roamed the lands during the late Cretaceous with the likes of TYRANTRUM. Nevertheless, the two herbivores face off.

The Bastiodon unleashes a METAL BURST that echoes sharply throughout the blizzard. Remiel's Aurorus, however, buries it within an AVALANCHE shortly thereafter. When it weakly attempts to reemerge, the royal pulls out an empty Luxury Ball and is quick to cast it. Devoured by the flash of golden light, the dinosaur is eventually captured.

the METAL BURST is the final sound that draws theo right towards the former admin. through the thick of the blizzard, silhouettes appear, and though theo does not recognize them just yet, he approaches anyways, keen on finding out who else is out here with him.[break][break]

in his approach, a vanillish bumps into him but keeps to itself. his avalugg continues lumbering along, each step heavier than the last.[break][break]

eventually, they reach the other person.[break][break]

The stranger's voice in the distance distracts. In fact, it buys a wild LUCARIO just enough time to leap in with a surprise METEOR MASH. Remiel's Aurorus bellows when she's struck, careening sideways as her master attempts to rein her back into balance.

Thankfully, before the snow-pelted Lucario can cast a METAL SOUND, it is buried beneath an AVALANCHE with a single stomp. All that remains visible from the freshly dumped mound of snow is a single leg. The ambassador pulls an empty Luxury Ball out from his pack and casts it there.

Afterward, he calls back. "Hello? Are you in need of assistance?" He asks past the howling blizzard.

the same way a wild lucario distracts the stranger, a wild mamoswine does the same to him with its ANCIENT POWER that erupts underneath them. sharp spikes of earth slam into avalugg's underside where it's weak, but the ice-type persists, holding on with a roar before charging forward with a DOUBLE EDGE.[break][break]

the mamoswine stills into a pokeball.[break][break]

Remiel almost laughs. Company? In the middle of a blizzard? He was beginning to like this man. Deciding he would humour the request, he begins to steer his Aurorus closer. Just then, however, a VANILLUXE crosses their path. Its mere presence seems to stir up the blizzard even further (SNOW WARNING), though the royal orders an ANCIENT POWER to bury it and subdue said power.

As the blizzard relatively calms once more, he pulls out an empty Luxury Ball and casts it to capture the Pokémon. Afterward, he proceeds towards the man who had called out to him earlier. "What are you doing way out here?" He asks, practically yelling over the cold howl of the wind and past the warm (but tightly smothering) fuzzy hood he wore.

A wild PERRSERKER emerges from the blizzard in the midst of a full battle-cry. Remiel's Aurorus is startled for a moment, but it quickly stands its ground before swinging her large tail and casting an ANCIENT POWER. The METAL CLAW that might have struck her otherwise strikes rocks instead, and one even manages to hit the wild cat square across its face. It falls unconscious, after which Remiel casts an empty Luxury Ball at it.

"Believe it or not, I'm looking for Kyurem," Remiel admits over the whipping winds. "But the rangers told me to keep an eye out for stranded civilians as well."

a beartic's AQUA JET brings it slamming into the avalugg, rocking the foundations of the pokemon. theo feels it and tightens his grip, stopping himself from falling off as the ice-type roars in return.[break][break]

it DOUBLE-EDGES into the beartic, slamming it into the snow before it rises on two feet and comes crashing down to knock it out.
