They'd just walked over from the sunny boardwalk of SLATEPORT BEACH, so Belial arrived to the LIGHTHOUSE with a snowcone in hand. He was well on his way through it, licking and nibbling pieces of sugary ice as they stopped on the stone-paved path preceding the structure. His MEOWTH followed in tow, though it, too, stopped to groom itself free of sand.

"A bunker in the famous Slateport Lighthouse," Belial remarks, looking up at the magnificent tower before casting jayden cross a glance. "Somehow I'm not entirely surprised. Though there doesn't appear to be any form of security aboveground."

The lighthouse keeper was probably asleep in his cabin nearby. The door to the structure itself was surely locked, but it was clearly nothing he couldn't lockpick. The entrance to the bunker itself, however, was likely to be fortified.

"Didn't happen to bring a ROTOM, did you?" He asks of the Admin. "I have a feeling we'll need it."

[break][break] In the bright light of winter sun, Jayden stands by the fellow Rocket agent. He had already sent out his pokemon to scope out the area, so he could confirm the details that the other had given. It was true — no sentries had been posted on the outside, and from prior experience, he knew that they were lacking on the inside as well.

[break][break] But that was a matter of here nor there, if they couldn't break into it in the first place.

[break][break] Jayden pulls the mask over his face before he nods at the other, releasing his Weezing. The pokemon released it's STRANGE STEAM to provide them cover as they wandered closer to the lighthouse. A knife flicks out as Jayden deftly undoes the lock at the entrance. It swings open with ease.

"Wonderful," Belial responds with a shark-toothed smirk. "What are we waiting for then, huh?" Sure enough, the Admin summons a WEEZING that provides them with cover to advance. Tossing what's left of his snowcone in the sand nearby, the S.P.E.C.T.R.A. co-captain pulls up his own mask and moves. They make short work of the lighthouse door lock.

Once he peeks his head to look to and fro, Belial utters a short chirp to summon his Meowth. The spiral staircase leading to the upper levels of the lighthouse is inconsequential. The one leading below, however... "Go scout the basement for us, Taro. We're right behind you." He whispers.

The Meowth does as it's told, hurrying long before disappearing in the dark. Shortly afterward, the pair of men follow it. Casting a glance at his partner, Belial can't help but ask. "Did you have a contingency plan for the meteor? I don't imagine you stayed home to hug your loved ones when it was all going down." He remarks.

Being inside of the lighthouse space gave him a sharp sense of deja-vu. It reminded him of the last time he'd entered the space, and the bloody remains of an old friendship on his hands.

[break][break] Violet eyes follow the Meowth until he disappears into the darkness, and Jayden follows albeit a little slower.

[break][break] His head tilts towards Belial Stone.

[break][break] "Contingency plan? What do you mean?"

[break][break] To have a contingency plan would be to doubt Rocket. To doubt declan walsh. Which is something he would never do.
