Josh couldn't help but gasp in awe at the burst speed Dusk was capable of. It opened the racer's eyes to the idea of getting one for himself. What the girl seemed to be unaware of was the capability of many ghost Pokémon to phase their riders out with them. It was extremely disorienting, as he found out by riding Sidewinder, his Dragapult, but it was something both of them could work on.

Then, the horror.

Using a massing tongue, the Gengar flung Sonikku forward like a cracking whip and onto the back of a Staryu that looked like it had to have come out of one of those Space-Time Distortions, much like many of Josh's Pokémon had. The whirling reminded Josh of Shalin Nariya and some of the nonsense she had tried to bring him along for. "Simba, faster! She looks hurt!" The lion put on another burst of DOUBLE TEAM to make it to the fallen girl faster.

"You okay?!" Josh cried as Simba slid to a stop near her. "First a Gengar, then a Staryu... you're a wild one. In a good way, but still a wild one. You remind me of one of my friends from Johto. We moved to Hoenn together in June of last year then went our separate ways."
