Ritual. Lex held some fond memories within the walls of this bar. Before Killian found her, this was her safe place. Now, it seemed foreign. Lex regrated not visiting virgil roach more since she moved out of Slateport.

Tonight, it was packed. Some sort of New Year’s bar crawl? She only found out about it after deciding to meet jayden cross here. It was quite out of character for Lex to seek the companionship of others, but Jayden was someone she found she was beginning to trust, especially after the events of Littleroot. There’s a sense companionship in the heat of battle, and Lex was GRATEFUL that he was by her side.

The Beast shoved her hands in the pockets of her leather jacket, grinning at the crowd of people lining the bar. Roach was doing well, “Two OLD FASHIONEDS,” she signaled to the bartender, who gave her a knowing smile. She just assumed Jayden would want one. Who wouldn’t want an Old Fashioned?

bonds were forged in wartime. this was a fact that jayden knew, having grown up in the militaristic regime of kanto rocket. yet, even then, he held a fondness for all of rocket's beasts, having been one himself.

[break][break] since littleroot, he hadn't been able to catch up with others as much as he would've liked. the pile of paperwork on his desk was evermounting, and even though most of the work that the board had him doing for wyndon was simply signing off initiatives, it was still exhausting.

[break][break] still, he made time to visit the other rockets whenever he could, whether it was in hospital beds such as with Ashley Shepard and Isaac Merlo, or in bars such as the one he was at now.

[break][break] he slides through the crowd, eventually finding the flash of familiar red hair and seats himself next to the fellow beast. he nods in GRATITUDE.

Jayden’s approach and smooth entrance was almost stealthy. Of course, it wasn’t difficult to hide amongst the rather thick crowd her tonight. With it being almost New Years, a lot of people had the itch for a good party.

Her gaze shifted over towards the taller man, finding his violet eye beneath strands of black hair. She returned his gratitude with a nod of her own, “Fine,” Lex wasn’t a woman of man words, “Healing,” she shifted to turn towards him, leaning an elbow against the bar’s polished wood, “Yourself?”
