Chu-e's pause did not go unnoticed. They did have a point, though; if they truly were alive for millennia, then why would they care about what fleeting organizations such as the League or Team Rocket thought of them? Even a human lifetime was little from their perspective. "...A man can dream, though, can't he?" Josh half-snapped. A childhood memory that continued to inspire him to this day... perhaps, a little too much. As he would soon learn, whether he wanted to or not, a desire that strong had the potential to turn destructive. Destructive in ways that would affect more than just him.

Ready to at last load the last set of boxes, Josh called on the help of some of his Pokémon, placing the ones the Eeveelutions could carry onto their backs. Pokémon were invaluable partners. Not tools like Team Rocket made them out to be. "I already resigned to that when I bowed down to the Great One all the way back in my early Johto days," the Master of Faster affirmed. Not all did, but many Johtonians revered Ho-oh. "Even knowing that... who else in Hoenn has the speed tolerance needed to be the Knight of Thunder?"

And with that, the task had been completed. "It was great getting some insight from you while lending a hand. I hope we can meet again!" With that, the Gym Leader's Eeveelution brigade was off as he waved goodbye.
