How achingly familiar the sensation of powerlessness was in her. That phantom hunger gnawed at her from the inside out, reminiscent of suffering long denied relief.[break][break]

he has not met many who agree with him so this is nice. it's something for two strangers to bond over, for what little it might be worth.[break][break]

Hesitant, she looked at his outstretched man then again at the man in front of her. Her green eyes searched him for any sign of deceit, and finding none, she stepped forward towards him.[break][break]

Her hand uncertainly met his own, the tangible pulse of his palm confirming that blood flowed through his living body. This proof startled her, slightly.[break][break]

That made the consequences of her words here real.[break][break]

Offering her civilian business card felt strange to do, while technically doing work in a more Rocket-aligned capacity.[break][break]

Introducing herself as Fernando's enemy as well as the Petalburg florist blurred two worlds together that she was uncomfortable seeing side by side. Then again, blurring those worlds had been what led her to this predicament in the first place.[break][break]

"I'm not difficult to find, either," she replied. Her name, address, and telephone number were all visible on the floral-scented card, its lacy design indicative of a delicate touch.[break][break]

That this might be the calling card of a Rocket underboss might be amusing from the outside looking in, she supposed.
