matias has no issues reminiscing about those days. it's only toward the end of his days in kanto that he avoids bringing up if only because he hates having to face the bitter truth that he lost the war.[break][break]

"i lived what most kids dream of where i got to travel around and explore the region. it was nice, apart from all the training and fighting and eventual war, of course."[break][break]

As he spoke, she listened intently, gently nibbling on the cheeses. Truth be told, even before today, Penelope knew a bit him, curiosity bringing her back to his file more than a few times. Every time she looked there was always something new to discover. Something to connect the scattered dots of their days spent together. [Break][break]
