Midnight at Mt. Pyre. Definitely not a time that one would normally find Johanna out and about. And yet here she was, most at the request of her ghost Pokémon. A fair few of them missed their old home and wanted to visit, and she was not about to not oblige them. So, while they were doing that. She was walking along the beaten path, eyes looking nervously around, it was dark after all. But she wasn’t alone. A Gengar followed her, jovially jumping around, diving to and from shadow to shadow until it caught a glimpse of something or rather someone nearby. Ever the playful spirit it dived into a shadow and began creeping ever closer to the woman and her Greavard.  LOCATION: MT. PYRE -> Route 121 MADE BY MIZO |

The Gengar gave her a gleeful greeting, wide grin and happy eyes. Only for all of it to be turned to surprise and shock as she eek’ed at the sight of its trainer. Honestly Johanna was surprised as well. So surprised in fact, that she made a little jump. When she finally realized she wasn’t being attacked, but had rather scared another human being (she assumed) her nerves calmed down. “Oh sorry about that. I didn’t mean to scare you.” She quickly claimed the responsibility. Speaking of being claimed. A huge Golurk, large even for its kind, slowly walked toward Johanna. Its robotic movements would have been obvious, if Johanna hadn’t been focused on Dolores. The Golurk had one purpose right now. To claim careless souls wandering Mt Pyre. Luckily for Johanna, her Gengar hadn’t been hypnotized by the appealing Dolores yet, and so quickly jumped into defending its trainer by putting the Golurk to sleep and eating its dreams. “Retnauh, what’ve I told you about putting random Pokémon to sleep?” The Gengar seemed mildly surprised that Johanna would assume ill intent. But then Johanna smiled. And the joke dawned upon the jolly ghost. Johanna was certain Gengar had had his reasons and so instead of scolding him she just grabbed a Pokéball and attempted to capture the Golurk. OOC: Attempting to catch Golurk. LOCATION: MT. “Thank you!” Johanna spoke, a nervous chuckle escaped her. No matter how many times people acknowledged her trainer abilities, it still felt weird. On the other hand, Gengar wasn’t as timid when it came to taking in the praise. A boisterous chuckling escaped the ghost. “Really?” Johanna would exclaim surprise in her voice as Dolores proclaimed her Pokémon’s similar sleep inducing capabilities. “Oh, a Haunter!” Johanna said. She watched how the Pokémon dealt with the Sineastea. “I like ghosts too, which is your favorite ghost?” Johanna replied to the question that Dolores posed. Meanwhile a flickering light joined the group. Litwick quietly floated about looking for somewhere to take a rest. Unfortunately for Johanna, her head was the place it chose. With a mild thud the fiery ghost landed on Johanna’s blue hair, and made itself comfortable. “Well, hello there.” Johanna would say directed at the Litwick. Gengar on the other hand was a little bit more suspicious, quick to tell the little Litwick that it better not try anything or else the same fate would befall it as had befallen the Golurk. The Litwick simply gave a small ‘don’t’ worry about it’ gesture. OOC: Attempting to catch Litwick. LOCATION: MT. PYRE -> Route 121 MADE BY MIZO |

Johanna listened to the answer given. Mismagius was a good choice. And as she pondered the Chattot’ed question. The Litwick joined them and Dolores raised a valid concern. She was about to shake her head, but then remembered the ghost that now sat there. “I am not. If it wanted to wax my head, it would’ve surely done so already.” She stated. Litwick made a reassuring gesture with its wax-hand. “As for the question. I am partial to Mimikyu. It was my first ghost type Pokémon after all.” Gengar seemed a bit disappointed, but he understood the reasoning well enough. But before any more could be said, the rustling leaves announced the appearance of another Pokémon. An oddly colored Ralts made its way through giving them all a MEAN LOOK as it tried to scare them off of what it perceived as its territory. Unfortunately for it, it didn’t look mean at all. But in fact rather cute as it growled. Litwicked sensed movement abounded in the head it sat on, and so began to float, just in time as Johanna kneeled down and D’aww’ed at the ferocious little fighter. “Don’t you worry little one. We aren’t here to cause trouble.” Johanna gave the Shiny Ralts a head-pat. And almost as if it could sense the goodness in her heart, it mellowed out and dropped its MEAN LOOK. A shy chuckle escaped Johanna as Dolores not only commented on her new capture and her appearance. Redness spread in her cheeks. “Thank you.” She mumbled, but she didn’t get to say much else before dangers were afoot. And Chandelure wasn’t the only one. Gengar soon found a worthy opponent in the Malamar. Both of them are contesting each other, not in battle but in Hypnosis. Neither side won. But in the end it seemed they gained a mutual respect for each other, and Gengar offered a position on the team for the fellow hypnosis enjoyer. Meanwhile Johanna would return to the conversation. “Yeah Chandelure is pretty cool too.” And she didn’t just say that because of the Litwick she’d just caught earlier.
