It'd been a while since Greyson Connors and her had hung out outside of work, and even longer since their hangouts involved her picking him up or vice versa. So, when his text came bumbling through the airwaves, it was with little hesitation that she replied with an enthusiastic yes.

Actually, it was more of a 'thank god yes', but that extra tidbit was a bit more locked away.

Stepping up to the Lilycove apartment, Penelope lightly tugged down at her off-the-shoulder white blouse. It was a little more cropped than what she was used to, but given the heat, it felt like the best option given her wardrobe.

Confident, she knocked on the door.

She knocked again.

She knocked a third time.

She nodded with understanding. It wasn't a game she was inherently interested in, but a couple of her friends had been raving about it. Sometimes, when work ended a bit early, she'd even catch their streams of it. Not too often, though.

A soft chuckle bubbled up her throat as raw enthusiasm leaked through the cracks of his cool guy persona. It fitted him better, she thought.

Fingers slowing to a stop, Penelope placed her weight onto the hand still clawed onto the couch's backboard, twisting her body toward his. There, she continued to lean against the piece of furniture for support.

"Take a guess," she smiled, eyes gleaming brightly. There is a radiate sheen only a hobbyist would carry. Because, even if her little hobby had faded from her thoughts these last few months, it still fared her no less joy to revel in talks of its gameplay and lore.

Despite the defensive gasp that ripped out of her, Penelope smiled at the accusation. Her eyes glimmered bright against the dingy yellow glow of his apartment's lamps.

With each time she repeated the obnoxious title he'd smeared across her forehead, her smile only served to grow another inch. Again, another puff of laughter burst through her nostrils, and she gave her head a gentle shake.

"I'm a paladin, actually. I prefer tank over dps."

DPS was, in fact, full of sweatlords, and so it served as a class she thought better than to dive into. Tanks were always desperately needed anyways, and Penelope loved feeling wanted.
