"well, they said they worked with the drk triad, so they're not just some random cyber overlords. and all that stuff they told us about overlapping universes and whatever seems pretty true right now. these portals around hoenn are pretty solid proof that they weren't just lying to scare us, at least in my opinion."

hoenn should be the very last place anyone seeks shelter in, but galar had been destroyed last summer. and annalise knows that pokemon are especially sensitive to disasters, so maybe zacian and zamazenta can feel something coming that somehow makes hoenn look appealing.
