With Rocket's unmarked arrival, chaos surged throughout the realm. It started small, with groups of twos and threes coming in waves. But, as the first few pulses on intrusion rang out, heavier forces were demanded, to which Elisabeth Fiorelli , BARNABY FINCH , and Felix Gallagher responded to.

With two admins working beneath the esteemed underboss, it was their duty to remain the defensive squadron of the organisation's assault. Rather than look for opportunities to attack, they were to divert, defend, and secure means of supply lines routes. It meant playing a less involved piece of the puzzle, but for Felix, there was no better part to play.

Alas, nothing ever goes as planned. Through the chaos, plans shifted, and what was once a defense mission became a makeshift new arc of attack. Only, League officials were now peppered throughout the battlefield, armed and ready to fight.

Just as their trio made it to the first checkpoint, Felix's gallade returned with a message.

Two people. 10 meters out.

"Go ahead, I'll cover us," he'd told BARNABY FINCH and Elisabeth Fiorelli . He sent out his Amoongus. Then, with a mask donning his face, movement was made. First in the form of clouds of STUN SPORES. Then in the shadowy silhouette of two figures, one masked, one bare. Vibrations shuddered the other, the pokemon, until one became two, then two became 4.

There were no words to be shared with the rangers. Only biting action.

With a click of his tongue, his Gallade pressed forward, a DARK SLASH cutting through the incoming SHADOW BALL. From there, with DOUBLE TEAM still activated, the group of mirrored images began making it through the outskirts of their battle. Through hurried movements, it looked to gain ground, growing closer to where the blonde had sunk back into.

From where Felix and his Amoongus stood, there were no spare cheap tricks to get by. While fire burnt through his spores, its splattering embers served as the perfect curtain to veil the next splurge of TOXIC waste that jutted out toward him and his trainer.

The clamoring of swords broke through the silence surrounding the lone EX-HEAD RANGEr. Back and forth, the gallade would look to surround the cerludge with its multiplied copies, each only as lethal in its ability to deceive.

With them all around him in a circle of dancing blades, they plunged forward all at once, blade bathing in the effective forces of a NIGHT SLASH.

It was during that time a sandstorm would erupt, casting away the pieces of illusion, but it'd ultimately be too late. As in most cases, reality lurked just behind the shoulder, peeking out from one's blind spot at the most inconvenient times.

For amoongus, the rumble of quaking earth forced the fungus to face splintering rock and bare their blunt ends. But that was not to be done without countermeasures of his own. Releasing another cloud of STUN SPORE, the grass type looked to have its paralysis poison mix well between the grains of flailing sand, inconspicuous to the mountain of rock that sat at its center.

It is during this time Felix looked to use the distraction of action to make headway toward the rangers. Each step came with its own cautionary survey of the area. If DEREK HOFFMAN or his Pokemon looked to take measures against it, it would not be without the reaction of his pistole.

There was no discerning the dust from air - it had become one concoction of poisonous grit, scratching at both Gallade and Amoongus' exposed skin. Only Felix, who'd kept himself hidden behind the mask of light weighted armor was able to maintain his stature against the storm.

"Amoongus! So-"

His words came to an abrupt halt. Through the flickering shadows behind the whirl of sand, he could just make out the scarlet flash of a red arc piercing through. Another Pokémon looked to be released, and it came no further than where Gallade should've been kept at.

Time to change plans.

"Amoongus, rage powder. Gallade!"

The admin jumped into a dash. With the last whisper of his command leaking back to the oversized fungi, the admin began breaking into the outskirts of their battle, fighting against the whirling winds and slices of bitter rock cutting up his clothes.

During this time, the rage powder took flight. It not only looked to consume the Gigalith (doing nothing in the process), but whatever lurked beyond the surface. Again, with the whirling winds, it scattered and rejoined in clumps that looked to horrify. So when it came to the aegislash and Charizard, there was little to be done. Little to evade or defend against.

The rage powder found it's victim. So when the Z - MOVE erupted, it is not without strain that it's ferocious splatter of violence came to target a bit different than the one it'd set to defeat. Brazen and suicidal, the amoongus brought forth the flames to himself. At the end of it's reign, not even a pile of ash would be left behind.

AMOONGUS HAS BEEN KILLED.

But in his death opportunity remained potent. Readied to be grabbed and twisted into the next charge forward.

TELEPORT enveloped the Gallade, and through its bright flash of pinks and purples, the swordsman didn't look to hide away. It plunged forward, finding a place behind the pair of golden pigtails. His bladed arm nestled itself around her neck; it was a promise sealed by action.

Through PSYCHIC transmission, the message was returned to his trainer. A captive had been obtained; their one and only exit opportunity.

"Stand down or she dies."
