Oscar had only glanced down the cliff before turning away, deciding he would be able to think better without the visual stimulation of the tera crystals below. "If I were the Seal Stone..." He mused out loud as he stroked the chin of his helmet. "I would be as far down as I could get." Oscar nearly regretted not landing closer to the open waters of the Ultra Sea. They might have had an easier time going down, even with the dangers listed in Rocket expedition notes.

Still, they were fully capable of mining their way down--it just might take some time. Not that Oscar minded, there was plenty to observe down below. He was positive he and Nomi could get some good data off of these tera crystals--but alas that was not meant to be. Nomi pointed out that Remiel Calcifet had appeared nearby, and Oscar could only sigh heavily as his plans were dashed.

He reluctantly turned to look over the cliff, immediately focusing on the two figures that had appeared below them. There was no mistaking it, one of them was Remiel. It was shit luck to already have some League dogs coming upon them, but to have one of them be Remiel? Talk about garbage odds. Oscar and Remiel were not enemies, in fact Oscar was likely one of Remiel's last allies within Rocket. Yet the deal they made not too long ago was clear: should they encounter each other with witnesses they would be forced to do battle. They could not risk the dangers of others knowing about their alliance. Oscar was no enthused.

"...Fuck--might as well give them a proper greeting."

Oscar pulled a red ball off of his belt, not hesitating to open it. Genesect emerged from the ball, its sleek black form reflecting the glow of the tera shards. Oscar pointed toward the two League agents, having his fingers form the shape of a gun. He pretended to fire, and Genesect nodded with understanding. It turned its cannon toward the two, charging energy before unleashing a massive blast (Techno Blast). It was a flashy attack with an audible build up, perfect for getting Remiel's attention while still making the first move.

Good, the attack missed. Plus they got the duo's attention, which maybe was not so great because the both of them came out swinging. An artificial sun was summoned, momentarily dazing Oscar as the unexpected heat nearly boiled him within his suit. If that were not bad enough, Remiel had summoned an Earthquake to decimate the very cliff Oscar and Naomi were standing upon. A rude greeting to be certain.

Oscar leapt from the cliff, his digitized voice ringing out a command to Genesect. "Catch me catch me catch me!" Genesect leapt as well, transforming into its compact Hover Form to catch Oscar in mid-air (Magnet Rise). Oscar slammed onto Genesect's back, quickly pulling himself up so that he could strike a menacing pose before he was noticed by the enemy. As Genesect slowly hovered downward, Oscar would catch a glimpse of Nomi tumbling down the collapsing cliff side. Normally this would make him nervous, but come on this was Nomi. She would be fiiiiine.

Oscar emerged dramatically from the dust cloud created by the cliff's destruction, hovering in clear view of the League duo. From here he would fold his arms, a digitized laugh echoing across the cave. "Well well, if it isn't Remiel the traitor. I bet you pissed yourself with glee when you got this chance to fuck over your former friends huh? Well let's see how you do against me; I, Agent Skull, challenge you!"

Agent Skull was an old ass moniker that Oscar did not use much any more, but Remiel would surely recognize it. Perhaps then he would know that it was Oscar he would be facing.

Remiel seemed to play into the theatrics, that was a good sign at least. A good sign of what though? They still had to fight--or at least pretend to convincingly. Just long enough to create an opening to escape. Oscar did not get much time to think things through, as Remiel's Golurk would disappear and Remiel himself would throw some sort of flash bomb.

Oscar had not been familiar with Scatterbangs, so he just got confused and annoyed as his eyesight temporarily whited out. "Agh! Mother fucker!" Oscar cried out, teetering back and forth on Genesect. Genesect's artificial eyes were not nearly as frazzled, perhaps aided by Nomi's Safeguard. It still was not loving being out in the open. It floated straight down, attempting to help keep Oscar balanced on its back. Unaware of how high up he was, Oscar's digital voice would shriek when he inevitable fell off of his mount.

Luckily Genesect had made it close enough to the ground so that the fall was more like a mild tumble. Oscar landed on his bum, the former Beast partaking in a prolonged pause as he realized how silly he probably looked. He quickly scrambled up to his feet and pointed toward where he thought Remiel was. "Bring the traitor to ME!"

Genesect reset its visual hud to shake off its daze, flying toward Remiel with intense aggression. From its cannon it would attempt to fire an electrified net to capture the traitor (Electro Web), and then pulls said net whether it was successful in its capture or not back to Oscar (U Turn).

tl;dr
--Oscar got dazed by the scatterbang and fell on his ass. Genesect recovered quickly from the flash and is using Electro Web to try and capture Remiel and bring him to Oscar with U Turn.
