Even with the mask and hood, it wasn't inconceivable to think one of his former comrades would recognize him, especially Cillian Quinn or Elisabeth Fiorelli. The sound of footfalls caused Rowan to shrink against a set of rocks, relying on the camouflage from his darkened attire to hide him from whomever approached.[break][break]

Rowan immediately recognized the man as he stepped into view as the one he'd traversed the Border with not long ago. "Of course." He muttered underneath his breath, having hoped that he wouldn't be forced to battle someone he knew. Emerging from the darkness, Rowan called out to the Rocket, Pokéball clutched in hand. "You shouldn't be here, turn back to Hoenn or I'll be forced to battle you." He warned, perhaps slightly unconvincingly for his first time acting as 'the law'.

Aimlessly walking, questioning himself with every footstep he took. Another job from Rocket he wasn't exactly willing to do, he had been asked to help search for Palkia and he was very much okay with that, but giving him another job was too extremely, maybe he should report them into OSHA.[break][break]

"You know Reaper, perhaps I shouldn't have accepted Mars' deal for joining Rocket, it's really put a dampener on my live a better life thing." The Gengar wobbled alongside his owner, as if he even understood the troubles of the world.[break][break]

Hearing a familiar voice coming towards him, giving him the exact words that he wanted to hear, he was right, he shouldn't be here! "You are so right! You hear that Reaper. We shouldn't be here!" Aidan would look towards Rowan with the most disappointed look he could muster, a child without a toy on christmas. [break][break]

"But unless you get me to turn sides once again I can't leave, unfortunate circumstances."[break][break]

Dropping the name of the Rocket Boss was supposed to evoke some sort of fear, but he didn't know exactly how deep their programming went. Rowan was always on the surface, above the doctrine. "Otherwise, I have no choice." The Pokéball in his hand opened, releasing the Swampert inside. "Atlas doesn't have as much restraint as I do." He warned, despite being a bluff. Rowan wouldn't have a repeat for what the Pokémon did to noah faber 's Machamp.

"Escaping? Escaping isn't the problem. Both sides will get rid of you once you've been used, everyone is fodder, for Rocket or League. I just ended up picking a side that I can use better." After the incident at Mt. Pyre, Aiden realized that both sides were looking to write their own story of false truths, both sides disregarding lives of their own members or others. [break][break]

"I did have connections but I don't know any Walsh fellow. Just Mars, only knew him and that's even gone." The disconnect he had to the organization itself was as massive as massive could be. Perhaps they were right and he should "escape" but he was sure that the League would come down at him if they found out he would only want their resources to wipe out a whole group of people. [break][break]

"I do commend you for trying though." Looking for a better life was a hard change and Aidan truly respected that. Aidan would only smile as the Swampert came out, it was inevitable. "It's play time, Reaper." The Gengar would sink into a shadow for a second, only to come out of of a different shadow, firing forward a Shadow Ball towards the target's Swampert.[break][break]

The Pokémon nodded, slamming both fists against it's chest as it began to expand, filling with an unknown substance. "I tried to warn you." A bracelet slid down Rowan's wrist, a Z-Crystal attached alongside a Keystone. "Now!" On command, Swampert unleashed hell.[break][break]

SWAMPERT: MUD FLOOD[break]
GROUND-TYPE[break][break]

Swampert unleashes a deluge of mud, damaging Pokémon and setting up a muddy terrain. Pokémon inside are slowed and have their ground-type attacks empowered for a brief period of time.

Mud exploded forward from the mouth of Atlas, covering nearly every inch of the cavern, effectively flooding the ground and deflecting the Shadow Ball. It was gross to stomp around in, but at least he could make sure that the man went no further.

Although Aidan felt bad for having to fight someone, both because he wasn't that great at combat and because he respected the person in front of him. "I'm really sorry." Aidan was at least ready to battle it out, hopefully not let of his pokemon die like last time, after all the person in front of him already sound kinder than Mars, not that it was a hard thing to be.[break][break]

His fighting spirit would quickly fade away as his enemies Swampert started throwing up mud? At first Aidan was curious, then disgusted and then finally he was worried about the Pokemon. "Oh. Uuuuh. Is it meant to be doing that?" Aidan would speak as the mud started covering the field.[break][break]

Bythis point his pokemon's move had already been blocked and the ground was covered in weird puke mud. Even if by some form of miracle was able to win in combat would it be worth to be completely covered in mud? His will was faltering at a incredible rate.[break][break]

"Here goes nothing. Hit that bad boy with some good sleep!" The Gengar would flap it's way through the mud staring deep into Swampert's eyes, hypno toad style. Big hopes and dreams on that HYPNOSIS[break][break]

Rowan was almost in disbelief as his Swampert came underneath the spell of the Gengar, falling asleep almost immediately. "You gotta be kidding me." He sighed, grabbing the Pokéball and returning them to their capsule. "Alright then, fire with fire." Another Pokéball was produced, this one a guaranteed victory.[break][break]

Spectier appeared in a flash of light, letting out a spectral neigh as they galloped onto the battlefield. "Bring that Gengar down!" Rowan called out, the Spectrier beginning to gather shadowy energies around their form. Tendrils of ghostly power reached out towards the Gengar as they unleashed the strength of a legendary HEX upon them.

"Huuuuuh?" Even Aidan was surprised that it worked, perhaps it was time for him to go back into his gambling ways and win it big, a crazy amount of money and some nice cocktails at the beach could make any man forget about their bloody vengeance. [break][break]

"Hit em' with the sleep paralysis demon, Genga....." Aidan had to take a pause as his target slipped back to it's pokeball, he got a little too excited. For the second time in his life he was facing a Legendary Pokemon, if memory didn't fail him, the first time didn't go that well. [break][break]

"JUST SURVIVE YOU BIG BALL OF DARKNESS!" He'd shout towards his own pokemon, trying to add some emotion to it but deep inside he was face palming his soul. Reaper would receive the blow like a award winning action star, hand in chest and everything as it fell down and actually fainted. "I have no idea, so please don't ask."[break][break]

"Round two it is." Aidan would say as the Gengar returned it's round body to it's pokeball and he tossed out another one, his Scizor being released with a flash of light.[break][break]

Scizor would be a tougher nut to crack, but this horse had some powerful legs. Gliding across the mud, Spectier approached the Scizor at a rapid pace, skidding to a stop in front of them.[break][break]

Spectier spun around on their 'heels' launching their legs upwards to DOUBLE KICK the Scizor directly in their metal carapace, hoping to do enough damage to put them out of commission.
