nothing wrong with support but there is something odd about it when it's matias doing it. the role feels unfamiliar to him in a way that makes him stick out.[break][break]

they'll just have to adapt.[break][break]

blissey claps its hands and COPYCATS, releasing an equally sharp DISARMING VOICE at the bug.[break][break]

it does little to stop it from FLAME CHARGING right at them.[break][break]

Of course it’s probably weird to Matias for him to not be front and center in a battle. Not that Lam really wants to be instead, but what other choice do they really have?[break][break]

It pushes through the shrill cries, barreling straight ahead.[break][break]

Mallow swoops ahead, taking the brunt of the attack. Flame licks at downy white feathers and she trills angrily, neck outstretched and beak opened in threat. As if the massive moth were no more than a tiny caterpie good for a snack.[break][break]

Maybe not exactly the most menacing sight for an altaria, but the wisps of fire and smoke that linger maybe add to the effect.[break][break]

“Any ideas?” he calls over to his friend, as Mallow tries to send it flying backward with a shimmering MOONBLAST.

That last suggestion, though…now that’s a thought.[break][break]

Lam looks over, a brow raised, “Huh..You think that’ll work?” At least worth a shot maybe. What harm could it do? At worst, the pokeball would just bounce off it and fall away.[break][break]

While Mallow pushes it back with another MOONBLAST as it lets out an odd clicking, screech. Lam finds a grand total of three empty pokeballs on his person.[break][break]

Given the fact that he wasn’t looking to hunt today, it makes sense. “Okay, three. If none of these hold…time to run, I guess.”[break][break]

As the bug shakes off the attack, it’s stunned as it’s contained by the beam of light from a thrown pokeball. A test run.
