WHETHER IT WAS DISPLACED BENEATH LITTLEROOT DUE TO DIMENSIONAL ENTANGLEMENT, BROUGHT BACK TO FUNCTIONING ORDER DUE TO DIALGA, OR BOTH, can not be determined. However, this kingdom made entirely out of intricate mechanisms is void of human life. Clockwork gears, iron tunnels, and curious domes make up this kingdom that continues to function like an animatronic music box.[break][break]

Mechanical Pokemon like Magearna, Volcanion and others present in the kingdom seem to be robotic, set to a rhythm or programming like an animatronic figure.[break][break]

Several clock towers loom above the entire kingdom, though their machinery seems to be in disrepair.

"tada! we're here!"

they arrive at the dungeons of the castle. the engine room deeper into it has already has been reported to have been activated, but there was nothing wrong with checking it again to make sure it remains burning.

it's a simple task, but a task nonetheless. rocket could probably send anyone, but since it was priam who organized it, the criteria goes out of the window.

"ah, i have someone to show ya!" priam pulls kouji over to where the underboss was. "heh! i thought you'd like someone to show the ropes to, hehe."

on paper, a new member. whether theo was aware of his background or not was uncertain, but priam did dig a bit to know the basics.

Kouji hadn’t expected to be dragged along, pulled along even, by Priam; it seemed the man had been digging into his background, but it didn’t really matter in the end. Kouji met eyes with Theo, an underboss. ”Nice to meetcha as well, I’m Kouji.” He said as he extended his hand for a shake; a simple greeting, a simple meeting.

This entire space was strange, right into the core room. He wasn’t smart, nothing he saw really made sense to him; but he looked around anyway. ”What’s the plan? I’m not good at the brainy stuff, so don’t count on me for that stuff.” He said as he allowed his eyes to explore and eat in their surroundings.

that part, he doesn't whisper. the next, he does. "if you act like you're his child, he goes easy on you."

he looks around the place afterwards, trying to savor the view that he barely had time to stare at the list time the rift opened up before his eyes. his mouth moves as he does, explaining the current plan.

"i think we just need to check if the engine is running again for future expeditions, but nothing's stopping us to sightsee along the way."

he turns to theo. "i got that part right, right?"

He whispered back to Priam, his eyebrows raised. ”The hell, why would I do that?” He said as he looked back. The idea of pretending to be someone else’s kid made him almost wretch in his own mouth, a rare feeling.

he shrugs at kouji's question, pairing it with a cheeky smile. everyone on rocket was weird, including their underboss. he's certain he's not the only one he's tried to play the father figure to.

"aye, aye, captain!" he responds to the assignment theo gave him.

as soon as he gives the underboss the affirmative, something green pops out on the corner of his eye. it notices priam the same time as he does, and after that brief moment of eye contact, the slightest movement stirs both into action.

"t-t-that thing!" he points at the zygarde cell. "let's fuckin' get it!"

while kouji attempts to curry theo's favor and theo goes idle in favor of priam's action to the cause, priam quickly shifts priorities from the assignment to what was newly discovered.

in his head, he thought they could always postpone the visit to the engine until the end since it's not going anywhere.

Kouji hadn’t expected it, that strange creature and the movement that didn’t make sense.

He didn’t even have time to acknowledge the thanks before Priam ran; there was something else here, something problematic. He joined them in the run, and he could only watch as Theo broke into a dance. He looked at the moving creature, and the door that began to slide down.

And the moving gear that was behind it, the moving machinery; that was causing the doors to fall down, Kouji’s eyes had caught it, and jammed the hilt of his knife into it, a tough metal casing that moved into the moving gears, jamming the door shut for a moment.[break][break][break]

the samurott forces itself out, activating the sygna suit the moment the song sounds. it looks frantically around, but calms down at the sight of priam getting unaffected.

"oh, so it does that." at least THEO BECKETT was there to test the effects of the song to them. his lips crack to a smile, but he moves forward to frisk the underboss for his pokemon instead of taking a video. "hehe, alright i'll getcha out."

milotic. that's the pokemon theo was bonded with as far as he knows. he picks one out and takes pokemon out until he gets one to activate the underboss' sygna suit.

it was a roadblock that stopped their momentum, but it wasn't like they didn't reach a physical blockade anyways. he turns to kouji, who had been doing work for them in the meantime, and shouts.

"put yer back into it! full power, kouji boy! let's go!" he cheers as he fixes theo's condition.

Kouji saw the foot fall onto his knife, and sighed. ”I compliment your shirt, and you just step on my third favorite knife.” He said as he took out another, the one with his mega stones embedded in it.

But that was to be expected, it was the type of thing that he should have expected to see, the door was kept open, and now the two were free. ”Forward, I’ll keep chasing whatever the hell that thing was.”

He said as he began to go into a sprint again, a fast run; the strange thing that had been upfront, just what the hell was that kind of pokemon to begin with?

as the door remains open for them, courtesy of kouji, priam steps in to look for the small cellular pokemon. despite his eyes that were perceptive to small and shiny things, he finds none of what he saw.

"ugh, it got away."

shoulders fall heavy in depression, though they were quickly picked back up, just like his spirits. he turns around, hands on his hip, as he takes the position of captain once again.

"i guess there's that! should we head to the engine instead? that thing's only gonna take a few minutes anyways, then we can go back to searching for that thing!"

he probably will, too, until someone else pries him off of the area. unlike ultra deep sea, dancing doesn't seem as bad as having hallucinations that could turn him against his allies through his intrusive thoughts.
