Melody rushed into the deep sea, some rockets had managed to slip past the defensive line the league had set up at the rift since it was so wide. [break][break]

So she had to go after the ones who slipped through. "Pinocchio! Monstro!" she calls out as tatsugiri and dondozo are summoned as she spots someone. She hops onto the back of her dondozo as she spots someone with grey hair sneaking past "HEY! STOP!" she shouts at him as she fires as the tastugiri sitting on her head creates an ICY WIND to slow him down.

Kouji didn’t have much choice in the matter, battle after battle came his way; and it seemed like it wouldn’t be the end here, ignoring his aching body, the cuts across his back, and the exhaustion he felt, he had no choice but to advance forward. ”Damn it.”

He had been noted, he had no choice but to leap out of the way of that pokemon move and into the open, but he felt the cold wind touch his skin, a sheen of ice covered his lower right leg, and he gritted his teeth, no choice.

”Weavile, Scrafty, you’re up.” He said as he threw two of his pokeballs into the air, the red light illuminated the space for a moment before they stood there. Recently evolved, recently strong, this conflict had pushed him more than he had ever been before. ”Sorry pretty thing, but I’m going to get past you. Her face turns red as she gets flustered and angry "What the hell?! Who do you think you are?!" she replies as it was obvious she got flustered from the comment. [break][break]

She uses the lower gravity of the area to leap off of dondozo and slowly descend as she draws her rapier in case she has to defend herself. However the tatsugiri on her head shouts as it springboards off of her head, the low gravity of the area making him launch high up into the air as dondozo follows and allows tatsugiri to enter his mouth. The dondozo's body growing slightly larger in size thanks to COMMANDER activating. [break][break]

"Poison gas! Chilling water!" she orders as Dondozo opens his mouth and tatsugiri peers out from inside of it and giggles before spewing out a toxic gas that mixes with the frigid cold water making it murky and purple.

Kouji smirked at her reaction, which got a laugh out of him. But that disappeared in a moment, this was an issue, a problem; he understood that perfectly well. ”Scrafty, cover, Weavile, Beat up.” He said as Weavile jumped off the foot of his Scrafty, and was kicked into the air.

The fighting type pokemon had no choice but to take the attack directly, feeling itself get weaker, and felt the coating of poison, invading its own system. ”Tch.” He clicked his teeth, but looked up towards Weavile instead, darkness appeared from him, forming into the shapes of his other pokemon, and then, Weavile plus 3 other pokemon came soaring down, Absol, Scrafty, and Deino, each ready to land a hit.

”You’ve got this Scrafty, get ready to switch.” Fighting two at a time was out of his ballpark, and so he’d need to get better. Hopefully, he’d have the time to do so.

Suddenly SHE was the one getting jumped instead as the pokemon began to pound on Dondozo over and over as he shut his maw to protect tatsugiri. [break][break]

However as he was getting BEAT UP Melody had an idea and allowed it to continued to occur. Once it was over Melody grinned, "Thanks for the boost!" she calls out as suddenly she gives out her next orders "Avalanche! Helping hand!" she says as Donzodo's mouth opens and tatsugiri clapps his hands together happily as he begins to cheer it on and BOOST avalanche's power. [break][break]

Avalanche's effects then activate, BOOSTING AVALANCHE'S POWER as WEAVILE and SCRAFTY as they both leapt in to ATTACK. "Just leave the dream zone alone! There's nothing for you there!" she says trying to still convince him to stop helping rocket.

Kouji had fallen for it, his pokemon had fallen for the trick; it was a simple thing in the end, but all the same it wasn’t a good conclusion. He couldn’t believe just how easily they fell for it. ”Anytime.” He said with a crooked expression on his face, his smile was lopsided as his pokemon got pushed back by the wave, a true avalanche of snow that powered forward.

It was a powerful move, that led to his pokemon taking a truly hard hit, his Weavile was the first to burst up through the snow, worse for wear, yet his Scrafty followed moments after, the purple haze that spread through his body, poisoned and hurt; he didn’t have too much energy left inside of him. ”Switch. Make sure to pay them back twice over.” Kouji told them, a simple word that changed the order of actions they took.

Scrafty began to move in the moment, a simple action, a simple dance, a draconic power flowed through his body, increasing the force he was capable of outputting; before hopping into a stance, but it was Weavile that jumped out first, speed overtaking his form as he held a shard of ice that he fired forward before leaping back behind Scrafty, a simple two man tactic; that had an underlying cause as Scrafty dashed forward again to close the space.

”The fuck you talking about? There’s nothing for me here? We get a great fight here, how about not talking so much. You’re cuter when you don’t open your mouth.”

However she doesn't let it get a hold of her emotions for too long as there was a battle to fight. [break][break]

The scrafty begins to dance and Melody immediately recognizes that dance. He's setting up on her, she can't let that happen, however she has to handle weavile first. "Order up!" she commands as the dondozo spits out the tatsugiri coated in a draconic energy and it tanks the ice shards, hurting it in the process. However Melody intentionally took the hit "Counter!" she says as suddenly tatsugiri rolls itself into a ball and a orange fighting energy also coats it's body aimed directly at weavile. [break][break]

He flashed a smirk, a clear showing that his words had gotten to her, or rather his satisfaction at them; but it didn’t last long. He might have won that verbal round, but when it came to pokemon battling, things were entirely different.

”Damn.” His weavile had taken that Counter straight on, a powerful counter strike. It seemed as if it had taken almost four times the damage it had dished out, being thrown back beyond the Scrafty who nodded to his partner that crashed against the ground in a heap.

”Good work Weavile.” He said as he drew back his Weavile, and brought out his Drapion. ”You’re up.”, a large pokemon; it stomped down on the floor as Scrafty began to charge forward; its stance low to the ground until the last moment, where it leapt high up into the air, tucked his leg in, bent at the knee, until his left foot was pressed against his thighs before he crashed down onto the earth; a high jump kick.

She fucked up, she left tatsugiri vulnerable after that attack and she was going to pay the price for it as he was an extremely squishy pokemon. The high jump kick collides with it and causes the ground to break underneath. [break][break]

Luckily it puffed it's chest up to try and cushion the blow before it hit allowing it to survive but faint afterwards. She wastes no time in recalling it and dondozo as well. She didn't want to have it battle without it's buddy, a drapion and a scrafty huh? [break][break]

She sends out her Mantine and paldean aqua tauros. "Raging bull! air slash!" she orders as Paldean tauros moo's with the force of a thousand suns and rushes towards the Scrafty. Meanwhile Mantine begins to swim through the air and flaps it's fins to pressurize nearby air into thin blades of air.

Scrafty’s blow had landed; the ground cracked, the dragon that had come out of its den had found itself crushed underneath his foot, the pride of a warrior flowed through him, as did the poison of the earlier fight. He let out a howl, clenching both fists as he felt himself get strengthened, but he had at best only a couple more moves left in him.

That was why he didn’t waste it on something such as protect, charging forward even with that in mind, He drew back its fist, storing dark energies within his fist, in order to meet the charge of the raging bull before throwing it out; a storage of power that met the superior force of that charge; even strengthened, his feet slid back against the ground; he could not hold it with a punch, being forced back and back; until his feet finally left the ground and he was thrown into a rock outcrop. It was only natural, Payback was a move used after taking a hit, not to retaliate against one.

Things were different for Drapion, a new addition to the team. ”Cross Poison.” He told the Drapion that took the air slashes, to meet it with his two claws coated with poison; or so it seemed…But it charged through the attack before leaping into the air; slashes opened up on its body.

”Wait wait wait, don’t just take the attacks!” Kouji managed to get out as Drapion crossed its arms over its chest before releasing the slashing motion.

The payback lands as it slams into the Tauros and it lets out a cry of pain, however it doesn't go down just yet, it was too stubborn and proud to admit defeat. It slams it's foot into the floor as it loops back around and it's body becomes coated in a thick layer of water and uses WAVE CRASH to attempt to slam into the scrafty. [break][break]

The AIR SLASHES find their mark as well, the Mantine happy that it managed to make contact. However the low gravity of this realm catches mantine off guard when DRAPION leaps into the air, due to the surprise factor the mantine was POISONED and drapion managed to get a CRITICAL hit in on the mantine as it careened to the floor. It was still alive thankfully but it was seriously hurt. Melody WAS going to recall the pokemon into the safety of it's pokeball[break][break]

But she was not fast enough.

It crossed it’s arms, the pincers it held once more, a dark glow covered them as he fell onto the Mantine, a night slash aimed to end this fight once and for all; a wicked sound seemed to escape from its throat.

”Oi Dra-” Though it was too late for him to call him back, now the only option was to support his pokemon. ”Good work.” Though he wasn’t happy about that result, it was obvious in his expression. He wondered when he had gotten so twisted, that the death of a pokemon bothered him, but he could kill a few people without blinking once.

Perhaps the death of his Eevee was still sitting with him, but that was simply how it was.

Scrafty had a completely different experience, as it was hit by the roaring wave of water, pushed back once more, and swept along, pushed on and on; until it felt itself losing consciousness, right until the moment they came to a stop.

She watches as Drapion drops down on her mantine. She tries to leap in with her sword to fight back and fend it off but she doesn't get there in time. The Mantine cries out before suddenly it stops crying completely, the pool of red underneath it spreading slowly as Taurous turns around and slams into the Drapion with an AQUA JET, it's rage induced gaze INTIMIDATING the drapion as it fully intended to push it off of mantine with this aqua jet. [break][break]

Melody grabs the mantine and hugs it as it weakly looks at her with a smile before dying. Her hands stained red from it's blood. She recalls it silently into it's pokeball so she could bury it later. She stands up before locking her gaze onto the rocket opponent as she reaches into her back pocket and pulls out a small little metallic object before pressing the button on it and it extends [break][break]

She brought her Rapier with her. "You're going to pay for that." she says as she grabs another pokeball, releasing her chatot. "Iago, Tempo." as she was completely serious now about making him pay and a TAILWIND is mustered up, increasing her team and her own speed.

That was an issue; the way she looked at him, the change in the movement of the air, and he knew, this battle was now far from over. Drapion had been rocked into the distance, his knees almost stopped as he looked on at Tauros. ”Tch. Shiftry, Sunny Day.” It was strange, in a place like this, for it to work, but it did; Shiftry threw up a ball into the air, and it blazed like the sun itself.

Still, Kouji didn’t let his eyes move from Melody. ”You sure you wanna do this? I don’t mind a rough tumble here and now, but if you decide to fight me in close range, be ready to kill me.” He took out his switch blade, flicked it out until the blade stood out in the open, shining against the glowing light above.

With that tailwind, she would be faster than him, as a trainer she was far better than he was. Her pokemon more experienced than his own, but that didn’t matter in a fight such as this one. ”I’ll let you start.”

Back with Drapion, his eyes were fixed onto the taurus, he felt as if there was a pressure pushing down on his shoulders, an intimidating presence emanated from that pokemon across from him, weakening him, it was strange, but was it scared? It tried to shrug it off, charge forward with a night slash as if to cut the air itself.
