Still, the battle that Roaring Moon was locked into was a difficult one, even with it’s Jaw Lock; it’s mouth fixed into place, it was being forced off slowly; it was being driven to a lower, more base place. The pride of a dragon roared up from its gut, dark impulses sat within its mind, and so it lashed its tail at the ground in order to drag it down again.

The electric waves that traveled across the ground, which made what scant fur it had stand up; it was the deciding difference between the two; and then came the outrage; the strong force it kicked him back, and with another roar he was being pushed against; his back legs skidded across the dirt; his wings furled as if the resistance would slow the crashing, and yet the vicious attacks began from that point on.

That was why he retaliated with a Dragon Claw, to meet the incoming outrage; it was as if he were trying to contain an entire dam with a singular cup, a pointless endeavor, but slightly better than doing nothing.

”Oi boy, Dance.”

Yet his trainer’s commands were ever as strange, but the moment in which he struggled to understand it, a barrelling ball came in from the side; dislodging the Iron Jugulis from him. The roll out had come to his aid, and so he roared, because any Dragon’s Dance needed to begin with that declaration.

Xenon doesn't even miss a beat as she pops back off with a smirk.

"Bones for brains."

Even in a two on one fight, still they struggle as the iron monster of the future rages on, dragging the primitive ancestor down to the ground where it would reign supreme. Electricity powers the three headed machine in its Outrage, even the draconian claw raking through its metal chassis only enrages it further as it continues blindly slamming its body into the Roaring Moon without any sign of slowing down. It's only Radon's well timed Rollout that finally gives the dragon room to breathe as Iron Jugulis's attention shifts to the spinning bug, slamming its head down into the space where the Scolipede had just been with a furious roar.

On and on the fight drags on as Radon leads her opponent's attention away from the dance of the dragon, scoring a few hits in on the metal monster, and taking more than a few hits in turn as she is battered and bruised by its furious rage. Finally she can take no more as she spins out of control and slams into the wall, Xenon moving quick to recall her back into her pokeball and throwing out Argon to finish the fight. Just in time too as the Iron Jugulis's eyes flicker intermittently, having finally overheated its own body and throwing itself into a false logic loop as it tries to reboot and scan for enemies.

Kouji’s eyes didn’t move from the battle, yet his lips moved by instinct, a smirk that was slowly turning into a grin.

”Yeah yeah, whatever you say Bolt Humper.”

Still, the moment that had been bought was created in order to allow him to dance, and Roaring Moon did so; the shaking of scales as they clashed against one another; the powerful whip of its tail, the fluttering of his wings, and then the final roar as his power increased, sky rocketed in a moment just for him to be able to stand on the same place as this electric field powered monstrosity from a strange future.

”Lock it down.” He shouted to his pokemon, a plea as much as it was a command; he hated seeing it, it disgusted him, he wanted it wiped out and deleted from existence if nothing else.

But that wasn’t possible, he wouldn’t do it, and so he had his Roaring Moon lock down the Iron Jugulis mid-outrage, it was a clash, dragon move met dragon move; draconic energies raged for a moment before he managed to lock his jaws down onto the central neck; before slamming the both of them against the ground once more.

”Let’s clean this up, Future Nutt, I’ll leave that thing’s future to you.”

Xenon is a paradox in every way. She loves this man as much as she despises him, she's never related to him more yet cannot see a way in which she could ever agree with him, she adores the future she beholds and wants nothing more than to crush it under her heel. It's only fitting then that this bizarre Paradox would be hers in the end, she would accept nothing less.

"There's nothing clean about this you Primal Waste, the only way this could ever end was as an absolute mess!"

There's a manic glee in her eyes as she says this, throwing her hand outstretched and pointing at the tangled duo of dragon and machine. The past locks down the future into tangible possibility, it makes her skin crawl, but for the moment she has no choice but to accept it as Argon begins charging up the final attack.

"Argon! Strike from the depths of hell with the furious lightning of the fallen god! THUNDERBOLT!"

The Gengar cackles as he raises his stubby little arms up in the air, a dark cloud appearing above both Roaring Moon and Iron Jugulis as the two struggle and thrash against one another in their blind rage. Maybe she should be letting Kouji get his partner out of the way, but in the end she couldn't bring herself to care about damage to such a worthless and shabby past like his. All that mattered to her was winning, pure and simple.

CRACKOOM! A bolt of lightning strikes down with a crack of thunder, crushing the duo of dragons with the fury of the heavens and finally shutting down the machine as its eyes flicker into a dull black and its body goes limp. After that, it's simply one underhanded toss of a Pokeball and the machine is sucked into the dull grey orb with a click. The ball rocks once, twice, thrice, it shakes and trembles as it struggles to contain the unlimited power of the future it holds... a thick crack spreads along the top of the ball as it finally stills. Xenon walks to the pokeball and picks it up with trembling hands, tears running from her eyes as she looks upon a desolate future that only she can see.

"And I shall name you Rhodium, for you shall be the start of my long road to the future."

”It’s as clean as it gets you futuristic toxic sludge of a reject.” Kouji didn’t feel any vitriol for a person like this, there was no hate in his heart; but there was no love either. There was just the feeling of getting along with a person, his smirk didn’t fade in even the slightest.

Watching her pokemon fight, watching her pokemon use a thunderbolt, watching her pokemon drop a thunderbolt on his roar-

Wait what?

Kouji looked at the creature in front of him, the Roaring Moon released a large roar before its eyes turned to her other pokemon. ”Not now boy.” He said as he drew him back into his pokeball, the cage of the present would hold the past tightly.

So, he looked at her, the broken pokeball, and raised his eyebrow. Did she make it herself? It looked like a homemade pokeball.

”Let’s get outta here.” He didn’t say anything else, nothing else needed to be said in this moment. Nothing about the tears, nothing about the blood; nothing about the crack.

Dreams were a place in which one could reveal their heart without having it be commented on.
