"Yeah, one heading your way in twenty seconds, blondie with maybe five centimeters on you, get the jump on him and it shouldn't be a problem." Xenon doesn't even miss a beat as she weaves her way through the crowd of the casino, briefly pausing by a couple of inebriated men watching a League match at one of the large TVs scattered through the main floor. Druddigon and a Klinklang, she knew which one she was rooting for at a glance.

And just like she had said, a blonde man in an official looking security uniform was walking Kouji's way as he scrubs away at the lapel of his suit with an annoyed look, she had spilled vodka on his chest and forced him to go to his car to grab a spare shirt, or at least that's what she had bet on him doing instead of continuing his shift smelling of high proof alcohol drifting right into his nose. She knew humans too well, creatures of habit who relied on past behaviors even to their own detriment. "Ten seconds, finish it within thirty and I'll have a treat for you by the time you make it inside." Xenon giggles as she skillfully unhooks one of the better's watches from his wrist, she's gone before he ever even realizes she was around in the first place.

Xenon smirks as she listens to the sound of struggle and turmoil over Kouji's earpiece, not wasting a second as she swipes a drink out of some poor woman's hand to take as the man's reward. She's about to say something, probably yell, but the woman of the future is always one step ahead as she presses her body in close to this nameless woman and locks lips with her to take her breath away. The kiss lasts for a solid fifteen seconds as everyone around stares at the blatant display of passion and romance, long enough for Kouji to walk in and catch the tail end of it as Xenon breaks away with a smile, leaving her gasping for air and hungry for more.

But already she's gone in the crowd as she makes her way to the rendezvous point. "Enjoy the treat bone brains? Don't let those pants get too tight, we've still got a job to do after all." The smug satisfaction in her voice is palpable as she turns a corner and stops by the door to the service halls, waiting for Kouji to show and swipe his pilfered ID so they could get on with the show. And she of course, holds out his hard earned prize, some fruity cocktail with the vague color of purple and blue swirling about like a whirlpool of neon lights.

"Never say never, the future twists and turns in ways you can never predict after all." Of course she wouldn't give him a solid answer for that one, it's much more fun to keep him hoping and wondering like the caveman he is. But that's that and this is this, she's already moved on as she takes the ID from his hand and swipes it through the little card reader that was blocking her from the future she craved. The light dings green and the door unlocks, all it takes is a single push and they're into the service halls.

Now for the fun part. "The plan from here on out is pretty simple. The room we're looking for is gonna be four intersections down and to the left. That's the entirety of the plan. From here on out we improvise like real ultramodernists!" Xenon laughs as she starts skipping forwards, literally skipping as she releases Argon from his pokeball to start moving ahead and acting as a forward scout. Best warning he would be able to give his about two seconds, but that's all she needed.

One intersection, two intersections, it's the third where trouble rears its head as she hears footsteps coming from around the corner to her right, Argon's head peeks from the wall with a panicked look, but Xenon hardly even responds as she slips a knife from the pocket of her coat and thrusts forwards without hesitation. She has no way of knowing how tall this person is, how fast they're moving, but still she trusts in the future to bring her to where she needs to be as her hand moves into empty space. The man rounds the corner, steel cuts through the jugular vein and tears apart the throat, he's left on the floor drowning in his own blood as Xenon drops the knife on his already stilling body.

"Welp, I think it's about time we hurry things along now!" She giggles as she breaks out into a run, uncaring if Kouji could keep up the pace or not. They were in too deep to back out now, not that he ever would have.

Results spoke for themselves as the two rush forwards and turn the corner, Kouji one step ahead of her as he pulls out his own knife and goes straight for the kill, as he moves in to tackle the other guard Argon would emerge from the floor and knock the second guard's feet out from under him just in time for the ruffian's tackle.

Xenon would waste no time rushing past Kouji's brawl, stepping right over the spasming soon to be corpse as she hits the door and swipes her pilfered key card to bust it open. And just as she expected, floating right there in a pretty little gilded cage, was The One. It doesn't take more than a glance to tell this Beldum is special as it curiously stares out at the new visitor to its prison, its metal coat an absurdly beautiful platinum silver as the light hits its body and sparkles in the darkness. This is what Xenon is here for as she crouches down to stare into the beauty's solitary crimson eye, blood dripping from her hands as she reaches between the bars and strokes the Beldum's body lovingly. "Just as I thought... an ideal fragment of the future, how lovely~" She whispers, shivers running down her spine as she forces herself to pull back and start working on the lock.

"You'll understand someday, once you've gotten a firm glimpse of your ideal future." Her voice is unnaturally soft as she pops open the lock to the Beldum's cage, watching it slowly meander out and take its first glimpse of the world outside the cave. Its crimson eye peers inquisitively at the dead bodies on the floor, absorbing the visual stimuli of crimson life staining the grey tile of the hallway outside the storage room, staring at the glassy eyes of the dead man as Xenon steps over him and looks back at the baby pokemon.

"Come on then. You don't want to get left behind." Xenon coos as the Beldum speeds up its approach, just in time for the girl to crouch down and poke a pokeball against its forehead and claim ownership of it for herself. "You shall be key to creating the future, an essential element to make sure the steel of my blade never dulls and never rusts. You shall be Chromium." She presses the pokeball to her lips as its lock clicks shut, a chaste kiss that lasts for but a brief second before she tucks the pokeball into her coat and turns back to Kouji.

"Alright bone for brains, we've got half a minute to blow this joint before the alarm goes off, another minute after that the doors are gonna lock and we're sitting Psyducks. Time to move!" And just like that she's off like a Boltund, running back the way they came and making a hard right as she follows some ingrained path in her head towards the back exit. It's all up to Kouji now to keep up.
