"I see. Sounds like fun.", Dorian remarked.

He didn't know that side of Johanna. But then, even if he did work with her more, he was sure that she wouldn't have revealed that much to him. After all, she most likely saw him as a monster, a psychopath.

Dorian would spot an Oranguru meditating nearby. He considered capturing the Pokemon, to donate to the cause. But then, he had his own reasons for being here, and felt that someone else could capture it, eventually.

"We're very busy, most of the time. Let's just say I run a club, for grown-ups. They help me keep the place safe, and that everyone is well-behaved.", he'd tell her.

Ettie blinked a bit as she mulled over Dorian's response. While her understanding of clubs was very basic, she seemed to understand this a lot better than the previous question he had posed. Pack members had a duty to look after their fellow packmates, after all, so... "Ok! Makes sense!" She smiled brightly, nodding eagerly. From the sounds of things, Dorian was a pretty responsible packmate for his family!

A drifting Milcery would catch Ettie's attention for a few moments, her gaze following the flash of movement beyond the trees. It was almost the same as when quick movements trigger a canine's prey drive - but she had no interest in a hunt or chase.

Ettie glanced to her pack though, and would hum thoughtfully. "Ettie want-find - should-find - a... Per-ma-nent den." She mused out loud, looking back to Dorian as she did. "Ettie-pack grow big! Am happy! But big-pack need den." While she was still able to properly tend to her pokemon, it was getting harder all the same - so keeping an eye out for a good home to settle down in was on Ettie's mind.

After a moment's thought, she'd pose another question - asking "Club is den, for friend-pack? What-like?"

Dorian listened to what the girl had to say about finding a home. It was interesting that she didn't have one. Was she raised by wolves, or something?

Before Dorian could answer her, the grinding of a Metal Sound caused him to grip his ears. A Klefki would emerge from the grass, attempting to shoot at the man with a Mirror Shot. His Magmar stepped in to take the hit, before quickly hosing her down with a Flamethrower.

Dorian, upon recovering, saw that the Klefki was knocked out, but still very much alive. The man tossed a Pokeball at the fallen Klefki, knowing someone who could use one.

"My club is very lively at night. Plenty of people come to mingle and have fun, while listening to music. We work so that others may have a good time.", he'd tell her.

Ettie had been taken by surprise by the hostile Klefki's appearance (in addition to a wild Oddish that had been sent scampering.) For a brief moment, Dorian might be able to see the way that the pack soon bristled - the wildchild included, her gaze suddenly less like that of a friendly puppy and more like that of a wild wolf. It was as if she had been prepared to pounce on the little fairy-type herself, especially given her fingers going for one of the hilts to her doublade!

But, his magmar had it handled - allowing for the Mad Dog to catch the Klefki. With the danger fully passed, Ettie and her pokemon began to calm back down - though the wildchild would still make a soft growl in her throat as she relaxed.

And once she relaxed, only then did she seem to properly regard Dorian's words. She'd glance in his direction, before nodding and smiling, her expression lighting back up in contrast to the wild-serious look she had moments ago. "Club sound-fun! Music good! Play good!" She chirped - seeming to have a somewhat different picture in her head of what this club must be like. "Ettie not-good at music... But listening nice."

Dorian took notice to how the girl's gaze shifted, upon spotting the hostile Klefki. Thankfully, before she could endanger herself, Dorian had it under control.

He was just glad he decided to be friendly, rather than risk a fight with the kid.

"Yeah, the people who play at my Club are great.", he'd tell her. Though it was normally a DJ who handled the music, he would have a live performance booked.

"I'm not much of a musician myself, but I can appreciate those who are.", he'd tell her.

A Whimsicott would skip away from the two, before she could be spotted. At the very least, she managed to avoid Dorian's gaze.

"Ettie wanna see club!" The wildchild chirped, smiling brightly at Dorian. Although, after a moment, she paused to consider a certain issue with this plan. "But club for grown-ups, and Ettie not-grown-up..." She thought out loud, humming with consideration, until... "... Ettie go later?" Ettie guessed out loud, smiling brightly to the older man. Because surely, it'd still be there once Ettie became a grown-up, right?

... Not that she wholly knew how long it'd take, for her to get to the point of being a 'grown-up'. She just knew it was some word used for older humans.

The sound of a yelp from a certain Herdier, however, soon drew Ettie's attention. Glancing over, she'd see that Ruffian had attempted to pick a fight with a nearby wild Maractus - to expectedly pointy results. The Maractus' Spiky Shield had easily fended him off - leaving Ruffian with bruised (or perhaps more accurately, poked) dignity as he rubbed his face with his paw.

Anat, thankfully, was there to tend to him - the Lucario in question giving a sigh as she used Heal Pulse on him.

Ettie would still give Ruffian a pat on the head though - her voice sympathetic as she spoke in reassurance "Is okay! Hurt going away."

Ruffian, in response to the care and comfort alike, grumbled in a disgruntled fashion. He totally had that grass-type on the ropes - or at least, he wanted to think that.

"Yes, unfortunately you'll have to wait.", he'd tell her. The only exception to the rule was Eris Halla, and even he didn't let her drink.

"If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?", he'd inquire.

As she treated her injured Pokemon, Dorian spotted a Togepi in the grass. The baby fairy was frolicking in the grass, when she spotted Dorian. The Togepi immediately waddled back into the tall grass, fleeing for dear life. Perhaps she sensed the sinister nature of the man.

Though Dorian contemplated catching one for his son, he relented. After all, even if his son was pure of heart, the presence of him and Mari would surely perturb the baby. So he allowed her to flee.

How old was she? It was probably telling how little she tended to know or keep track of even her own age, that she had to stop to think for a second. "Doc-tor-friend said... Maybe-15?" Ettie murmured, not seeming wholly sure herself. Given how little of her past was known (besides growing up with wolves,) it had been a guesstimation that a doctor made - a somewhat generous one, given they had to factor in her stunted growth - based off of her physical development.

As it turned out, Lycanroc usually didn't keep track of numerical age in the same way that humans did.

A Starly would be startled from the bushes when the Togepi made a hasty retreat - making shrill warning cries as he disappeared into the canopy.

But, it was now Ettie's turn to ask the question - as she'd smile over to Dorian, questioning "How old is Friend?" Smiling brightly, she'd add "Is... Many-old? More than Ettie!"

Dorian found it odd that she didn't keep track of her age. But then, he figured he shouldn't be surprised, given the behavior on display. If she really was fifteen, then she was a small one, which was unfortunate.

A Morgrem would prance into the area, ready to cause trouble. Smoochie Duckie stepped up, ready to pepper the goblin with a Flamethrower. The Morgrem would seem to surrender, gesturing for mercy. The Magmar looked perplexed, until the Morgrem stabbed at him with his hairs.

The Magmar was angrier than anything, and proceeded to hose down the Dark-type with a point-blank Flamethrower. The attack sent the Morgrem desperately running for the nearest body of water to douse himself with.

"I'm thirty years old.", he'd tell Ettie. "I take it you're a Hoenn native? If not, what land did you come from?", he'd inquire.

Much like with the Bayleef, it seemed that Ettie's concern was immediately up on Smoochie Duckie, the moment that he had been struck by the Morgrem. Once the fairy-type was sent scrambling (which, the fire also spooked a wild Lurantis,) she would carefully come close to check where Duckie had been struck - and Anat would come close as well, the Lucario offering a Heal Pulse to him.

The wildchild seemed to be quite attentive, to the status of the pokemon around her - as any good pack leader should be.

But, as Dorian told Ettie his age, she'd glance to him and nod. So he was older than her! Thirty, that was... Sixteen, seventeen, eighteen - she was visibly counting to herself, if the little gestures she made were of indication. That was like... Two Etties old!

But, the question of where Ettie came from had her perking up. "Oh - 1-2-0! Grew up with Mom-pack!" She spoke happily, feeling a warm fuzzy feeling over thinking about her original pack. How were they, she wondered? Perhaps she'd visit sometime! And show Mom how big her pack was now! "Very deep. Not-see humans, until... Meet-Julia Davis !" Julia was another person she'd ought to visit, it'd been a minute.
