Eventually, your out of world experience is interrupted by a violent rocking of your vessel and blaring alarms. A large hand-like being crushes a part of your ship as if in search of you and your friends.[break][break]

Weather or not that Lulu Flint believed it, that's what this vision of the past had pointed to.[break][break]

But... could they trust anything in here?[break][break]

It gave Tempest much to ponder over. An idea was already slowly turning in his head.[break][break]

In time, his new connections under the Science Division would help him see it through.[break][break]

But for now, the scene shifted. Tempest felt his heart freeze in his chest when he recognized it.[break][break]

"Lulu. Something's going to attack us."[break][break]

It was about all the warning he could get out before the alarms started to howl.

she was already rushing towards the control panel when temp voiced a warning, followed by the ship’s loud siren. through the window, she saw it: a hand, and it was familiar in a way that raised the hairs on the back of her neck.[break][break]

”that’s the hand from the cloud!” she shouted to temp. ”it’s arceus!” at least, she’d assumed as much, and they had reached it in a spaceship, in what appeared to be outer space–not ultra space.[break][break]

at the star soiree, she had looked through the telescope with father anderson and others, and seen something. over time, after all that had happened and all the realms they had been to, however, she had started to think it silly that arceus might simply be amongst the stars somewhere. but now?[break][break]

quickly, she looked at screens, searching for clues about their coordinates before they could be crushed by the wrath of the almighty.[break][break]

”ascended hall of origin…?” it was all she could glean before the hand made it impossible to study things any further. [break][break]

with only the briefest consideration, she announced, ”i’m going!” and ran towards where the hand had crushed part of their ship, her heart pounded in her chest, but what was another simulated death?[break][break]

Tempest didn't know what the 'cloud' meant; it was the second time it had been mentioned to him in recent memory. But it had to be something.[break][break]

The alarms ring. Lulu Flint panics. But Temp is calm, calmed then he should be, even with the grave face as he watches the chaos around them.[break][break]

Last time he had been here, he had died.[break][break]

A slow implosion.[break][break]

Death was not a fond memory. The sensation of drowning was much like running out of air in space. The similarities brought little comfort.[break][break]

Then Lulu is gone.[break][break]

Walking to the console, Tempest stares at where her figure had gone. The hand retreating further and further away.[break][break]

Tempest stares at controls he didn't understand.[break][break]

And wonders why he didn't try to stop her.

there was little that had gone into the decision to leave temp behind. she could apologize to him later, but with no discernable coordinates to the machine’s data, there was no promise that she would be able to return to this particular simulation.[break][break]

and so she ran, and she was soon held tightly in the grasp of what she could only assume was arceus. as they went through the stars, she only felt eager to see where they were headed. but then, she felt a sensation prick through grander thoughts. judgment was coming for all she’d done. what might the creator doom her to for all her evil?[break][break]

darkness consumed the galaxy, and then it was all over. the simulation was complete with no evidence of what might await her in such a future, leaving her disturbed with the haunting thoughts of all she’d done.[break][break]
