RKS, the simulated realm, his last two round in it were strange, and he was expecting it otbe so again. In part, that was why he was so glad to be going in with Naomi Sato, head scientist, someone smart. Not just in the tactical sense, but in the actual booksmart sense, even after that dream, and a couple rounds in this world, well, he wasn’t any more comfortable with those kinds of matters.

As the simulation began to unfold in full, once more right into the fray of things, the woman who stood across from them; the white hair, the pitch black clothing, and the sheer numbers. They were outnumbered, and only given a singular choice to make.

”Sorry, I’d rather die than give up on Rocket, what do you think, Sato?” He asked with a slight raise of his eyebrow, it was just a simulation, but the sentiment in his words were true.

"Die?" Nomi raised an eyebrow. "Don't be dramatic." She waved her hand dismissively, though the corners of her mouth quirked up into a small smile.[break][break]
She liked Kouji Matsubara; sometimes it was a breath of fresh air to work with someone so...direct. But they couldn't continue to serve Rocket if they were dead. Staying alive didn't mean they had to give anything up, though.[break][break]
"That being said, I don't trust them either," she agreed, stepping forward. She snatched a Pokeball from her waist, releasing one of her Unown.[break][break]
"So let's see what happens if we attempt to get rid of them."[break][break]
With a casual wave of her hand, the Unown-A released a blast of HIDDEN POWER directly at the white-haired woman. A pang of anger boiled through Nomi at the sight of that mysterious woman: after all, she was the reason Dr. Holo had escaped Rocket's clutches so many months ago.

There wasn’t time for that any longer, and just as he had said that, they replied with their own Hidden Powers, his vision was surrounded in white; this was some kind of displacement.

The next place he found himself was in a cavern, the moonlight barely leaked into chamber itself, providing a single ray of illumination. Kouji’s eyes needed a moment to adjust, a second until a spiritomb, with it’s large smile came out to greet them. It looked like it was time to lay a ghost to rest.

None came: instead, the world went black as the simulation disintegrated right before her eyes. Moments later, images pixelated all around them, re-forming into a dimly lit cavern. A very familiar cavern...[break][break]
"Ah, yes, this scenario," she nodded, taking a deep breath to stave off any lingering vertigo from the sudden shift. Her gaze settled on the headstones littering the floor. "There should be an especially nasty - "[break][break]
Dark energy burst forth from Kouji's Umbreon, streaking towards a - [break][break]
" - Spiritomb." She finished, scrambling backwards. Kouji didn't waste any time throwing himself right into the fray, it seemed.[break][break]

Guys like this pokemon were dangerous, Kouji adored using the combination of ghost and dark, but hated going up against it even more. Spiritomb was dangerous, even if it was just a simulation; it was better to cut past it as quickly as possible.

What would be the result?

Spiritomb fought back, the spirits that escaped its shell continued to make haunting noises, just as much as the keystone that bound them to this world. It was like a microcosm of the borders, it was as gross as anything could be.

”Snarl.” It was a powerful soundwave just moments after Kouji gave the order, a highly focused move that struck Spiritomb with a soundwave, making it more difficult to strike back.
[break][break]
”That should interrupt ‘em for a little bit.” He said as he looked over his shoulder to Nomi.
[break][break]
”Can’t believe you keep those things around, they’re creepy as hell.” He said as he looked to the Unown.

The storm clouds stop before your ship. From the cumulous cover, a THERIAN THUNDURUS emerges with crackling lightning coursing from its knotted tail. What does it want? It does not look pleased.

"You sound like parker jones," Nomi laughed, patting her Unown-A fondly on the top of its symbolic body as Kouji watched it with wary eyes. Between the combined attacks of the Unown and Kouji's Umbreon, the Spiritomb was forced to back off. As soon as it relented, the simulation began to fade, the environment shifting once again, ready to deposit them into some new landscape.[break][break]
They were greeted by stormy seas, and Nomi wavered as she almost lost her footing due to the choppy waves rocking the boat they'd appeared on. She glanced at Kouji to see how he was faring.[break][break]
"There will be a legendary Pokemon here in a - "[break][break]
A massive booming thunderclap cut through the night, and the sky lit up with crackling lightening.[break][break]
" - second."[break][break]
The God emerged out of the clouds and soared down to touch its claws to the raging ocean. Nomi's Unown-A drifted forward, ready for anything.[break][break]
"Fighting it may not be the best course of action," she advised. "But somehow, I have a feeling that's what you'd prefer to do."[break][break]

”Nah, seen this one before.” He said as he cracked his neck both ways, he wasn’t sure what else was to this, but he knew that fighting was going to lead to their ship sinking. ”It’ll always lead to the same result, so there’s no point in playing that out.”

He didn’t enjoy fighting a losing battle if he already knew the outcome.

”Let’s keep it calm.” He said as he looked over at Umbreon, the golden accents on her body began to glow, forming into a Wish, perhaps he was angry because of an injury?
