Greyson watches from atop the safety of his own mount as the man, and his Roaring Moon, dove after the Raichu. It was reckless, and a sign of the either mans youth, inexperience, or will to die.

He decides to punish him, either way.

"No use fighting fair. Give us a boost." He orders the Braviary before raising his voice for the Raichu's benefit. "

springs at his, and his little surfer's back, their movements becoming just a smidgen quicker. It's what gives the Raichu the edge it needs to split itself into clones, watching as one of them pop beneath the closing jaw of the Paradox Pokemon. But, Kouji would immediately find himself surrounded by a dozen or so copies of the Raichu, each riding the waves and terrain, flipping and whistling like a pack of surfer-dudes.

Greyson grins down at the man.

"Last chance. You're good, but, you're a couple of years too early to make a difference here." He didn't necessarily believe his own words, but mental warfare was just as important as physical. "Run with your tail between your legs, and lick your wounds for another day."

There was a point to be made in a battle such as this one…Was it worthwhile to run? Or was it worthwhile to continue? ”Maaah, you Elite Four guys are a pain in the ass…I did hold you back for a while, but y’know what letting me go means, right?” He could spend expendable resources, but spending his main ones was going to be a pain for the rest of the battle.

It was an important choice, just thinking back to the battle against Navy and Isaac Merlo, sometimes it made sense to retreat, maybe if he’d learned that lesson earlier, he’d be in better shape now.

”You’re pretty strong, but; just wait a few months, I’ll be back and we’ll see who has their tail between their legs.” But it wouldn’t be Kouji without trying to get the last word in.

His Roaring Moon turned in the air to fly at the command of his trainer, it was a short buck; but Kouji didn’t immediately shoot out.

As the trainer turns to leave he whistles, whipping up a massive

hurricane

that consumes the horizon between them, and the island. Furthermore, Raichu wills its power alongside the Braviary, great arcing

thunderbolts

intermingling with the newly made storm.

"I'm sure we'll meet again. Provided you can survive what's in-front of you."

With a laugh he returns the Raichu and ascends up and above the clouds, disappearing beyond.

It wasn’t a clear rise.

As he tried to break away, he felt the wind turn around him, throwing around with such high pace; threatening to tear him from the Roaring Moon’s back as it got more and more intense, until eventually as they reached some distance away he felt himself soaring higher and higher; turned around in the tumultous winds.

So this was the power of an Elite Four’s Hurricane?

It was a loose thought like that which hit his panicked mind for a moment before he felt himself getting torn away, and ripped around in the sky before Roaring Moon caught him; tears were apparent on his clothes, and splotches of red colored his dark clothing.
