But Mercury is where the true power comes in, the Melmetal drowning in excess energy and following Shuwen's lead as it mega evolves.[break][break]

In an instant, she's gently swept away from the door. Moments after, heavy metallic waves surge forward, adding their weight as they squeeze into cracks and forcefully pry the edges right open. It's by their combined efforts that they're allowed to move onwards to the next leg of their adventure but before the moment passes, she finds her attention grabbed by the burly Urshifu.[break][break]

Reaching for Shuwen's arm, she tugs lightly and gestures to the red fur. Forget the whole forest or other world that might stand before them, what she needs now is to know what she wants about those closest to her. And though Reiner might bark at how rude it seems, he too holds a mild hint of curiosity in his gaze.

“He got burned fighting another legend.” Navy says, looking into the jungle. “You should see the other guy.” Nominally, he’s not supposed to talk about this. What the League doesn’t know won’t hurt them. Arceus knows he’s keeping a dozen other secrets from them.[break][break]
“I’ll tell you about it, but you have to pinkie swear you won’t tell anyone, alright?” Kneeling down, he offers her a pinkie to seal the deal.

Unlike his, hers dances with fresh bruises and stretches further, trails of uncontrolled flames most likely continuing past the pulled up segment of her sleeve. But for the first time, she seems a little at ease showing them, even returning that smile that the Urshifu gives her.[break][break]

Reiner finds movement in spades, although none of it is immediately hostile the way paradox Pokemon tend to be. Massive Yanmega, creatures taller than Navy, fly about in schools. Stepping into this prehistoric world waiting for them in this strange place, the soil feels soft beneath his boots. All around them is the scent of interdream mist beneath the dusky heat. They’re stepping into a dream. Of course this room is the byproduct of that place.[break][break]
“Massive as this room is now, bet it’s not big at all once you take off the interdream mist.” The sheriff observes wryly. “You like mythology and all that, yeah? What about prehistory? Back when it was just a bunch of big, crazy Pokemon kicking around” Little ones, too. A whole pack of Totodile play in a pool of water, paying them no more mind than the Yanmega did.
