the waves beside the ship pounded against the struggling magnezone, hanging on for its life. though it had been destined to die there that day, perhaps it would live after all. surely, the scientist wouldn't leave it there. she would not forget.[break][break]

lulu retrieved what she needed from the ship: a couple of folders, and a case, containing a computer, a couple hard drives, and something else. she rose from the cabin to the deck again and started for the back of the ship, where her escape was flying in.[break][break]

”good job connors!” she congratulated over the wind as she was leaving, recalling her genesect who had crashed into the water, knocked out. ”you fucking asshole.”[break][break]

for a moment, she did leave the magnezone there. it slipped her mind as she boarded a salamence (wouldn’t have been her first choice) and only when they flew right over did it occur to her, oh, right. that one.[break][break]

she returned the unfortunate (or perhaps lucky) magnezone too, and then they were gone.[break][break]

"Get me a copy of that ships manifest, please." He tosses a glance at the ruined vessel. "Then sink that fucker."

Again his mind turns to the woman's anger, and again he finds himself laughing.

"Lulu fuckin' Flint. She certainly was entertaining."
