Shalin was tired of direct combat with Rockets, many of her Pokémon in League infirmaries. While she had her best six still, almost all of her first string of backups were under the care of nurses flown in from all over Hoenn to help with the war effort. She was relieved that she would not be spending the early evening in combat as the sun started to go down. Her assignment was simple: to transport the building plans Josh Devlin and Greyson Connors had stolen back to the League for analysis.

Dressed in her Sygna Suit and seated on her Flygon's wing, she awaited the arrival of Melody Miro , perhaps the sweetest member of Hoenn's Elite Four. The dragon-type Sygna Pokémon lightly and briefly fluttered her wings from time to time, both to keep Shalin awake and to keep the flow of Infinity Energy going until her partner arrived.

She walks out already dressed head to toe in her sygnasuit. However this time, knowing she was teamed up with shalin and she had a little faux pas because of her z-move las time she allows someone else to have the spotlight this time. However, she did bring earbuds this time "Alright Shalin, the floor is yours this time. I'm going to be acting as support for you so show me what you got." [break][break]

"Pyukumuku, helping hand" she orders as the little sea cucumber in her arms wiggles around and claps it's "hand" against Melody's to send positive energy to her pokemon.

With the green auras of Infinity Energy flowing between the two after just a few seconds of fluttering, Sandy raised her wing upward, letting Shalin slide onto her Flygon's back. "Thanks for the backup, Melody!" she chirped, greeting the Elite Four. "It's simple, at least on paper: we have to get these building plans from Greyson and Josh back to HQ. I'm sure there's going to be Rockets all over our tails before long. If they get too close, how about we wow them with a musical performance they'll never forget?"

She figured Melody had at least one flying Pokémon with her. Just in case she didn't, though, it wouldn't hurt to ask. "If you don't have a flying Pokémon of your own, you're welcome to use my Beedrill or Yanmega," she offered. Regardless of travel arrangements, the Captain-to-be would lead the way to the south of the island, Sandy taking to the air and flying at slight curves to allow Shalin to keep an eye to the rear for pursuing troops.

"Thanks. I have my noivern with me!" she replies as she sends out her noivern and mounts him.

She flies behind Shalin, her noivern focusing on silence rather than speed as she didn't want to draw any attention to them. "So, you use sound moves a lot huh? Do you make music?" she asks her as she gets distracted, growing a bit restless without an enemy to defeat right in front of her. [break][break]

The idol had a Noivern of her own, it seemed. The sight of the giant, draconic vermin made her frown. It was a grim reminder of the gods' independence, fern delaney perhaps not intending for their Tapu Koko to outright murder Piccolo. "Piccolo..." she shed a single tear before shaking her head. "Your Noivern just made me think about her is all." The silent flying-type would have been perfect for the job.

Sandy could be quiet, too; she had such precise control over her wings that she could simply vibrate them just beneath the threshold of human hearing. Her flight would be much more clumsy than normal, perhaps typical of a more traditional dragon than an insect, but stealth was more important in their observation of Rocket. She understood the value of it, but preferred striking fear into her foes' hearts rather than employ ambush tactics.

"I'm not a musician actually," Shalin answered, "though you would think it if you saw some of my other Pokémon." The distraction was welcome, letting her relax and stop thinking about her deceased Noivern. "This is gonna sound weird, but it's the vibration itself. Did you see me on my Flygon's wing?" she asked sheepishly, stumbling and stuttering over her words. "If you get to see my Sygna Suit in action, you'll... understand."

She raises an eyebrow at the mention of her love for vibrations. [break][break]

"Is that so?" she responds as there was someone else on her mind she thought of when it came to flygon. Was that the thread that bound them as friends? Eh, she wasn't sure. [break][break]

"Then it seems like now will be your time to show me." she responds as she looks on. In the distance several rocket trainers send out flying pokemon that would attempt to get in their way. A crobat, a starly and a corviknight all use air slash in their direction and melody focuses on avoiding and assisting shalin with the fight. "Go ahead!"

The very concept of enjoying exposure to harsh vibration was alien. To most, it would be uncomfortable best case. Worst case, the injuries from the blindingly-fast motion could be crippling. There was simply something special about Shalin, her Flygon, and the way the two bonded. They each seemed to share part of their Infinity Energy with one another, her trainer's wild and free emotions amplifying her power when both were present.

The two glowed a faint green again as Shalin slid back onto one of her Flygon's wings, the dragon curving it upward to keep the girl from sliding all the way off. "I know it sounds really weird, but there's just something so blood-pumping about it! If you have a Sygna Suit of your own, we should meet up sometime after we get back to the mainland! Oh, and cover your ears!" the girl warned as an afterthought. With how much she used sound, perhaps Melody would already be prepared for such a move.

Bracing herself for the wild ride to come, Sandy's wings began to flutter, first at the speed of a small bird for Melody to observe her, then they buzzed with the speed of a flying insect Pokémon. The green glow became brighter the more shrill the pitch became. The wing Shalin rode was shrieking, discharging a grating BUG BUZZ that was designed not to shred the Pokémon chasing after them, but to reflect their own AIR SLASH back at them and overload their hearing. The Crobat's senses had to be utterly fried from the high frequency sound whose volume was greatly amplified by Shalin's BRAVERY.

The power rings out and it's mere seconds before melody can react in time and send out a pokemon to defend against the soundwaves. [break][break]

She activates her sygnasuit and sends out her oricorio as a defensive SPECIAL BARRIER is erected and the bird flaps into the air channeling the energy out and shielding them from the bug buzz. "Well I was hoping to adorn this new sygnasuit after my upgrade to it but it seems that's no longer gonna be the case. One hell of a bug buzz there Shalin." [break][break]

The crobats were stunned by the attack, some falling down almost immediately while the rest of them seemed to be diving in close to Shalin to try and get a physical attack but melody intervenes. They had informed her of the special abilities of the third tier sygnasuit so she tried it out for her, using her upper body to dance and manifest some feathers within her hand as she uses FEATHER DANCE[break][break]

The feathers fly forward, slowing down the crobats and weakening their attacking power "Quick shalin! Follow up again! One more time!"

Shalin, likewise, had recently perfected the bond with her Flygon partner, granting her powers akin to an Avatarship. In the Galar Memory, she had pushed her suit's power beyond its limit, riding the very fastest and most powerful buzz her partner could loose. The extreme vibration repelled the Pokémon terrorizing Galar, but it left her with musculoskeletal problems for the rest of the alternate history.

With her bond with the Flygon now exquisite, those limits had been lifted. She felt she could rodeo with anything but a legendary, and would even be able to give a legendary a run for their money. "Melody, cover your ears one more time! This is gonna be as loud as it gets!" The Flygon landed and stretched her wings, standing at the top of a rocky hill as they baited the Crobat to surround her. A NORMAL ZONE formed around her and her dragon mount, Shalin taking a deep breath as she sat upon the dragon's insectile wing. "Sandy, use BOOMBURST!"

Amplified both by the NORMAL ZONE and the girl's reckless courage, the dragon's wings started vibrating so fast that both they and Shalin disappeared. The drone turned into a squeal, which turned into a shriek as the wingbeat frequency grew and grew. The nails-on-chalkboard sound was drowned out by a layered series of sonic booms, the Flygon's wingtips crashing through the sound barrier. The wake of moving air violently sent many of the poison-types flying. Those that did get through latched onto Sandy and sunk their POISON FANGS into her, though they didn't bite for long. The Flygon's attack was so violent that even the dragon herself was harshly vibrating, the Crobat's four wings not designed to hold onto something shaking as she was. Furthermore, the FEATHER DANCE blunted their fangs to the point where they could not fully pierce Sandy's scales.

Once they had repelled all the Crobat, Sandy gradually slowed her wings down, the streak of intense green light that was Shalin gradually becoming more visible. Once the wing came to a stop, Shalin let out a victorious cry. Unlike in the Galar memory, there was no pain in her back, in her neck or anywhere. Her Sygna bond with Shalin peaking let her conquer perhaps the wildest ride any of her Pokémon had to offer. "Wahoo! What a ride!!" she chirped. Even Sandy herself was proud.

If that couldn't unseat Shalin, then nothing short of a legendary Pokémon could.
