Ultra Megalopolis - Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

A RUINED CITY IN ULTRA SPACE. It is unclear whether this is a different universe's Ultra Megalopolis or smaller colony. Regardless, it is a dark city with intermittent sections of flickering, artificial light... Large, black prism-like skyscrapers loom above flat black streets. Much ruin has fallen here, but you get the sense that you're not alone...

for one reason or another, the two of them find themselves equipped in what appears to be megalopolan recon squad uniforms, though they must have lost their helmets in the chaos of fighting against a swarm of guzzlord and one especially large one.[break][break]

he might even keep the gear. they do look nice in them after all.

equipped with the necrozma memory, kyle's silvally tears through the opposition with ease. it doesn't even need a command from its trainer as its instinct alone leads it to what needs to be done.

when a guzzlord tries to grab it with its appendages, a multi-attack is quick to sever its limbs.

"let's go!" he cheers as he watches his silvally tear through the ultra beast with ferocity.

"bring it all," he shouts, inviting every ultra beast in the vicinity to come and get them. "bring everyone in!"

what a brilliant sight. fantastic. invigorating. all of the synonyms converge into one as he watches his machamp toss a guzzlord right over its shoulder like something out of pro wrestling. the ground shakes as a result, though it seems it has ever since they stepped foot in this realm.[break][break]

as more ultra beasts flood toward them, he looks over at his friend, smile brimming.[break][break]

"did you actually think i use game analogies every time?" he tried to sound serious, but it's easy to break into laughter when faced with absurdity. "hell, no! this is self-defense."

nevermind the fact that kyle was the one who taunted them to their location with a shout.

"we should actually build your type:null though," he nonchalantly mentions amid the slaughter in the background. "i asked fern already. he said we can use his facilities whenever."

he wonders if that was a default for matias. kyle wasn't a silph, despite how much he should be considered an honorary member of the family for being close friends with the friendless members of their family, so he still has to ask.

it definitely isn't a default. in fact, he has never used any silph facilities as he's sure he was banned after his first meeting with his brother when he first arrived in hoenn, so he never bothered trying.[break][break]

"yeah? i'll need your help to build it, though. i'm not very good with tech."[break][break]

the slaughter continues, this time empowered by the DROUGHT from charizard's MEGA EVOLUTION. a wave of INFERNO washes over the battlefield, painting shades of orange across all of them.[break][break]

"bad at tech? aren't you supposed to be his replacement?" kyle jokes about before they are interrupted.

the silvally manages to locate the ultra beast that kept itself hidden, though it was too late. it has already lobbed its exploding head off and thrown it at their direction when the beast killer finds the time to go after it.

with the crystal it bore from the necrozma memory, it intercepts the blacephalon's mind blown by charging straight at it and tanking the hit. the explosion might not have been direct, but the radius still finds them as collateral.

kyle gets blown away from his original location. "shit!" his body aches over, but adrenaline gives him the push to get back on his legs.

"oi, matias!" he shouts, looking for his buddy. "are you still alive?"

not that it would matter since he can get him back to life.

the MIND BLOWN blows him away as well, and somehow he manages to right himself because the next thing he knows, he's on his feet staring across the destruction that lay before him. he's pulled away by the sound of his friend.[break][break]

"over here!"[break][break]

his ears still ring from the MIND BLOWN which is why he doesn't hear the GUZZLORD behind him until its shadow swallows him. the moment it does, he summons an EARTH PILLAR between them; it shatters instantly but buys him enough time to leap out of the way.[break][break]

the highly inquisitive curiosity does bring the question of whether all the primal energy stored within groudon's avatar will be released the moment he expires, but he dismisses the thought over for the sake of sentimentality.

as soon as his friend's voice gives him the relief from panic, he turns to the battle to get a more thorough observation of the fight. his silvally might have seen better days, but it's still standing strong against the blacephalon.

something's different though. "tch."

he stomps his foot and releases ash that quickly turn to both suicune and raikou. a reflect is set up while the rain dance pours down.

kyle gets blown away from his original location. "shit!" his body aches over, but adrenaline gives him the push to get back on his legs. he recognizes the growth as something similar to z-crystals, but he never realizes they can grow on pokemon just as necrozma's crystals can on the likes of his silvally and solgaleo.

it tries to get it's fire-type z-move off but not before the silvally jumps forward to strike it down with a multi-attack. as a precaution, kyle follows it up with a throw of a pokeball, if only to give them a few moments of reprieve and kill the momentum of the ultra beast's onslaught.

even when he's being threatened by a GUZZLORD that threatens to eat him whole, his worry is still on kyle, attention divided which prolongs the fight for longer than it needed to be.[break][break]

he ducks and rolls out of the way of the GUZZLORD, far enough now to avoid the INFERNO that comes for it. it only grows in intensity as a DROUGHT appears, creeping out of the RAIN DANCE as charizard MEGA-EVOLVES.[break][break]

the GUZZLORD is held back long enough for a pokeball to capture it.[break][break]

immediately, he looks for his friend.[break][break]

matias would find kyle in the ruins of the blast radius. suicune and raikou have been reduced to ashes, although his silvally finds itself still jumpy despite that the ultra beasts in the area are gone.

"yeah?" he responds to matias' call.

his head briefly turns to him to check if he's alright before turning his attention back to the ball that contained the ultra beast. as he leans down to grab it, his attention is taken by the shards on the ground with it.

as he picks it up, his pokemon growls. he raises a brow as he finds it a source of irritation for the chimera before turning to matias. he'd think of playing with reactions, but time was ticking down.

he takes out the silvally's memory before recalling it back to its ball, but surprisingly, the irritation towards the sparkling stones were gone afterwards. he pockets some for testing before completely recalling it.

"hey," he catches matias' attention again. "we really need to build your type:null soon."
